Tried this tonight for dinner. Came out great! I had frozen some canned jackfruit I prepared earlier and fwiw both the impossible meat and the jackfruit thaw out pretty quickly. Oh and BTW we're like you. We went meatless for health reasons but still like the taste of meat and these hit the spot❤

If you have an air fryer like a toaster oven then yes, just watch the cook time, mine cooks a little faster. If you use a bowl type air fryer, then I’m not sure. Please let me know how they turn out.
@@PlantbasedlifewiththeSmiths it seems anyone who is vegan wouldn’t want meat. I have always been confused with vegan meat like cravings. Also it looks gross. I do think veganism is an eating disorder along with a long list of other mental issues, so that is my bias.
@@mrs.purrfectpearl thanks for your comment. For my family, we cut out the meat for the health benefits associated with it, not for the flavor. We both have personally seen improvements with our health. We are plant based, if you have to give a label. I know labels, but I respect your opinion. Thanks

I use big king oyster mushroom and shred them with forks even more meaty

what size cans of jackfruit ?
I think it is either a 14.5 or 15 oz can. I'm all out of Jackfruit at the moment so I can't confirm it, but I'm pretty sure it is one of those sizes.
