I’m 32. I remember always playing this at my late aunts house in 98’. I was only like 6. My uncle was a hunter and had these games on his computer. I miss my aunt and those days. The nostalgia hurts!!!
I don't know how many times I played through this. I wanted every gun in the shop, and my brother and I used to make fun of the low-budget gameplay. If you repeatedly button-mashed a call you could make the animal shimmy from their reactions to the call.
in the shooting gallery, you can adjust the sights using the arrow keys to line up the sights and hit everything right on. you can also navigate all those stupid hunter ed menus by click rather than exiting and re-entering each menu. i played this so much as a kid lol, i think i know all those screens by heart!
Hi Benjamin Melikant, thank you very much for this tip. You are absolutely right, when I started hunting games, I had no idea that you had to set the visor beforehand. What have I scolded? Because I just didn't hit anything 😤😡😂 ... at some point someone made me aware of this problem and since then I've hit a little better. Nevertheless, many thanks again!
Hello New Paradigm Beings, I am very happy to hear that you have found this game again. I would love to do a play-through for it, but unfortunately I won't be able to do it at the moment due to time constraints.
I loved this game. It was the shizz. Me and my buddies would fight over who got to play this and who was stuck with the playstation. LoL. High school kids fighting over the good ol hunting game.
I played this game as a kid and had so much fun. Still have the disc, but have tried and failed to get it to run on my Windows 7 and 10 machines. Ah well.
There's a good chance this game would run under WINE on Linux if set up correctly. If I can find my game disc I'll give it a try this week and let you guys know. This one shouldn't be difficult to run in a VM though; I don't think it even uses the graphics hardware
did we all share the same experience with this game. Yes the game over screen with the broken crying pig used to creep me out, yes I hated the warden lady, but what was worse was the many risks you run of going to jail if you broke the law. And yes I even remember mashing the turkey call to see them run back and forth for lolz. But I was always a gamer and used to get pretty far after practicing for months on end. there's many weird ways to earn money but I always wished I had more to buy the stuff i needed. my biggest challenges tho were hunting elk and the shooting gallery, never got pass those completely >.>
I got scared by the ranger popping up telling you your equipment was stolen. He was scary. The warden lady was an ass.

I remember me watching Dad play the hunting game for Windows 98 when i was very little. At the game over screen, I got scared by a broken piggy bank.
YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER. I've been trying for YEARS to figure out what game this was.
Yes!!!! Me, my brother, and cousins would play this all the time!!!!

Haha, yea, my reaction at 8:57 was "fix the sight picture with the arrow keys!"
I played this game CONSTANTLY as a child
So glad i found this! I've been looking forever!! Could you possibly do a play-through?

Yes, that will not work. I was able to install it on Win7, but the graphics were unplayable. You need an old PC or you are using a virtual machine
I have this game, I liked to shoot a lot of ducks then I would go to jail hahaha 😂🤣

Where can I buy this game? I've looked everywhere!
Wow I miss this game
Where can you find this game my aunt and grandpa are in it so I would love to play it
One of the best ways is through Ebay. At the moment there is this offer: ebay.to/34kPN80 In fact "The Hunting Game" is not that often found.
Which characters? That’s awesome!
Where and how can I find this. It is my childhood. Was just talking to my dad about finding it to get the recipes
@@sgtstutter8968 if you want the recipes still I just bought the game and am playing it currently if you never got them

Anybody know how to play this game on a modern computer?
I recently bought the game on disc, and I can't even play the full game without a game key! D:
Could you go through all the game calls ? Wish I had this game 🤦🏽♂️ been looking for this for years !!!
I just found this game in the cd rom case lol
Is there an emulator for this?
I used mostly "VMware Player", that is a virtual machine. There I use different operating systems. Most games work quite well with WinXP
@@Limp_Bizkiteer don’t need an emulator windows 11 and 10 can play this game from disc just fine
When a video game is also a commercial
I remember Playing this years ago. Sucks though that you have such a low budget and limited means of earning cash to buy gear
Hate the lady warden, I was poaching before I knew how to spell it
You lose EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
