Super late reply, I know, but in case you’re interested: Alan Rickman read at least one audio book (that I know of), The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy. I got it on Audible, but it may be available elsewhere. It’s about 15 hours :)

When I found out about it, I was actually awestruck because that was like finding a huge vein of gold! 😁 I never even imagined I could be so lucky!

Alan turned Snape from a well written character into a trully GREAT one.
Alan was a method actor, aka he worked hard to actually feel the character, not just act out a part. He had to understand his motivations, fears, plans, etc.
He made Snape his own. He would even argue with the directors if their ideas went against what he knew about Snape.
Sadly, he had only about 10 min of screen time in 8 movies.
I read the books hoping to find more Snape scenes, but I was disappointed. Book Snape is much more on the jerk side, or at least he is presented like this through Harry's very biased eyes.
Alan did a wonderful job at polishing, refining the character, making him much more quietly menacing, cold profound, but also likeable.

I appreciate your comment. I also have CPTSD, along with OCD and DID. It's been a difficult journey living with mental health conditions that are generally misunderstood. Some have a negative stigma attached to them due to a lack of understanding about the condition and that can make things more difficult and isolating. ASMR in general has been really helpful to me when my anxiety was off the charts.
