Hey thanks for the video, its the only one I could find on this particular year model. Mine is a 2009 and is exactly the same. Your video really helped me get started!
Thaks very much ...perfect, then just the three bottom bolts, and rotate engine mount to one side, and loose starter bottom bolt, loose bracket between liquid lines that I move a little to make room for the top starter bolt. Right??
No. So the top of the rubber mount is a nut and it should just slide off the bolt. Then you have three bolts that connect the mount to the motor. Once you remove all those the mount slides up and off and just push it to the side to get to that bolt to the starter
@@esceleto1619 no sir. Just put the jack or stand under it and apply alittle pressure to keep it in place bc it will move alittle once you take the bracket off.
Yes I but a jack stand under it just in case but the hose shouldn’t be taken loose from the motor, it’s just a bracket that holds the metal line in place by I believe a 12mm bolt that you should see from the bottom of the car. Once you take that bracket loose just shift the line out of the way but leave it connected to wherever it runs to the motor
I tried to move the rubber support of the motor but it does not move, very little space, I let go of the pipe lines, but I still have not reached the bottom bolt, for the top I still try to remove it. Do you know of any other tutorial to remove the starter motor?
No I don’t. I looked but was unable to find any other tutorial. I was able to remove the three bolts holding the rubber and motor mount on to the motor. The top bolt of the mount is a pain to get to but if you have a flat ratchet wrench you can get it out. The top bolt for the starter motor is just a 17 short socket and ratchet.

Did you have to jack up the engine to get to the starter?

hey man, is there a way that you can link the exact starter that you bought? would be very much appreciated.
Hey sir. Sorry for the late response I had no notification but I bought the starter from the parts store. If I still had the number I would.
Thanks man.
When do you move the hose, do you lose a lot of water? and you hold the transmission box with A jac just in case
