When most picture death, we envision a tall dark figure surrounded by cold and darkness and shrouded in a cloak. In Kirby, we have the opposite. Death comes in the form of a tiny unsespecting insect with bright colours, and fire that burns like the sun.

The Kirby series general director said it originated from the cancelled gamecube game in an interview (which makes sense when you look at its original concept art. It looks nothing like Kirby's Adventure's art style, which was Meta Knight's debut game).

Nah, Judgment Day was already prominent in Morpho Knight's pause screen descriptions in Kirby Star Allies. ...To the point that I thought all of those references were to Christianity's Day of Final Judgment and Morpho Knight, being already dead, would only return then. Kirby and the Forgotten Land implies that Morpho Knight oversees personal judgment days instead, though.

I'm very impressed on this remix, it really give that ominous feeling for half the song, slowly building up while never giving you the impression you're in charge. Then you reach midway point and suddenly the intensity is cranked up but doesn't really explode, it just make things more heated, more intense for you. Honestly I could hear the surrounding burning with that remix, damn. An amazing work from Jonny.

Morpho Knight is (supposedly) a powerful being, and the FL rendition of their theme really celebrates their return. Despite that, there is still little information known about them, and even in this glorious, triumphant praise of the scarlet valkyrie, there is still a faint aura of mystery heard in this track.

It doesn't help that it alludes to many different interpretations relating to death and the afterlife. Perhaps it is better that this fluttering fiend is a mystery...

What a killer theme. It has the intensity of a boss battle but is balanced out by the calmer moments with the acoustic. Truly a rollercoaster of emotions.

Elfilin actually recovering and Kirby returning to the New World are just post-game convenience. Clawroline is still looking for Leongar. Heck, entire games aren't canon (e.g. Kirby Battle Royale, Kirby Fighters 2, the Kirby Clash games). Magolor may have survived a trip to Another Dimension's afterlife, but he dreamed that subsequent trip to the Kirby Clash games at best. Note that by "canon", I mean canon to the main storylines of the main series games. I'd like to think that the Three Mage-Sisters and Hyness indeed started owing Kirby and being nice to him instead of merely leaving him alone after that first disastrous encounter, but most of Heroes in Another Dimension doesn't possibly look canon at all (nope, not even as canon as side canons like Meta Knightmare Returns or Kirby Battle Royale) - that game mode is as canon as the True Arena modes at best (I have a hard time believing that Kirby really fought all those bosses in a row again before facing Soul of Sectonia).

I get why the speedrun modes (Meta Knightmare, Guest Star, etc.) and the arenas wouldn't be since they recycle boss fights and other elements in ways that don't really make sense with the existing story. However, the other ones you mention are very different in nature from the speedrun modes and arenas and don't conflict with the main story in any way, so what reason is there to question their canonicity? HAL has never said that ALL post-game modes and such are non-canon, just Meta Knightmare Returns and the True Arena in Robobot (and likely similar modes in other games too).

(At least King Dedede and Meta Knight won't be happy to learn their Jamba Heart pieces are living out copies of their lives - note that the Japanese version of Kirby Star Allies confirms that Parallel Meta Knight is the same type of incarnation as Parallel Dedede.) By extension, I am forced to figure that Isolated Isles are similarly not so canon after all - Kirby being able to go back to the New World at all, with no visible persistent wormhole back to Popstar to boot, really smacks of post-game generosity to me.
I'll admit, I didn't care for Morpho Knight much at first but Forgotten Land really turned me around largely because of this theme. This remix certainly helps. Fantastic work as usual!

By extension, I am forced to figure that Isolated Isles are similarly not so canon after all - Kirby being able to go back to the New World at all, with no visible persistent wormhole back to Popstar to boot, really smacks of post-game generosity to me.

I remember the first time I fought Morpho Knight I had to do it without an ability because Leongar hit me right before and I decided to kill him first then grab it, only to then realized the ability was outside the Morpho arena and I couldn’t grab it.
The Morpho Night theme in Kirby's forgotten land is one of the best, and this remix makes it sound more incredible than ever!
