I find myself talking to you, answering your questions, even though you made this video over a year ago! Julie, you are a delight!
I totally LOVE to watch you do the steps and would never fast forward!! Every success I have is a tribute to you! Your patience in allowing us to watch is so appreciated! I know it’s easier to do lots off camera but the easy way doesn’t help us beginners. Your labor of love does indeed help people like me have some successes! 🥰
I love the gold and white handles
I love how you try new things and teach different techniques 😊 Love the tray❤️
I think the tray turned out beautifully. Love the gold and white. Great idea to put the handles on.
😊🎨🌺🎨😊
I as well was shouting gold handles LOL just beautifully done.
Hi Julie
Beautiful piece
It is a delight to see your videos and how you communicate with every one, also you are so friendly
Your art is amazing, and your resin art is just beautiful

Dont be disappointed it looks very nice, i love it
You really staged it beautifully. Fit for a queen 👸.
Beautiful Julie. You display your art so tastefully too.
Your video is perfect to watch while I have my first cup of tea. Relaxing. Tray is beautiful despite all the mishaps. Look forward to next one as you discover new things! Have a good day. ☕🌹
Beautiful! It is just gorgeous! I love the display with the coasters. They come together so well.
This is gorgeous and I think the gold in the middle is perfect right now.
It looks beautiful!
I am a skincare & cosmetic formulator by profession and work with resin for fun.
One of the things I do is use hairnets when working in my professional work. I automatically grabbed for one when I took supplies the first time I made coasters to the lanai.
I still use hairnets with resin and it has been a lifesaver for me.
To fill bubbles, I drill a tiny hole in the bubble and use a syringe and fill it with colored or clear resin and those bubbles disappear.
It is easy to replicate colors if you measure them by grams.
the stuff you do with resin are all so pretty and it's really nice of you to teach what you have learned
“Oh dear!” You are a riot😆 I just love your videos!
I do too! Everytjing comes out amazing! 😂
I bought a tray from a local maker it's amazing giving to my daughter as a birthday/wedding gift. Also 3 set cansiters and tissue box
I watch your videos every night. You’re a riot! Very entertaining. Thank you.
You are so funny.... I know you were upset about your recording issue, but you handled it with charm. Both the coasters and tray are beautiful.
You are such a joy to watch and you create the most beautiful pieces of art! I really appreciate you sharing these adventures with us.
Plain gold would be my choice! You inspire me! I love your videos!!!!
Love the stripes.....clever lady
You did a great job !!! It came out beautifully !!! Your display is amazing !!!
💐🥰💜🤗👏👍💐
Love all the techniques you try and share
I love it. I think the white around the edges gives it depth.
Gilly, this tray is absolutely gorgeous.Good job!!
I am NOT Gilly!
Simply beautiful!! TFS❤️
It was helpful to find out about the rash you can get from the resin dust. Thank you for that tip Julie!
Love the gold and white
I think that's incredible for your first try. Your edges on the mold are great. Hard to even tell is was a hand made mold. Love the feathering of the white and gold. Another great job Julie!
Nice display! Great project and it turned out jut lovely.
You are so good at making your own resin moulds. I love these white and gold the best.
It turned out fantastic, understated elegance. If you keep it up with the silicone, we will be buying your molds. Thank you.
This tray is elegantly beautiful
Great job Julie! Such an excellent way for us to learn from trial and error...but even your mistakes are excellent!
"I shouldn't mix so fast"
*continues to whip resin like scrambled eggs*
this is so relatable to me, lol. I always stir too fast.
Thanks for walking us through it turned out beautiful.
I love watching your videos your helping me get ideas, new ideas to resin here x mwah
Absolutely gorgeous love it
Awesome, love the colors. Gold is my favorite. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Just had to watch this again, it is just so beautiful you do a great job!!
That’s gorgeous!! And it looks so natural!!! Beautiful!!
I think it looks damn good, painting the edges put it over the top for me....i get what ur saying about the gold leaf...pat yourself on the back, for first try it looks very professional 👏!!
Gold was a good choice 😄
Beautiful, great job very good catch.
Love it. It is gorgeous. I may make one myself
Came out very pretty
Love watching your candidness! Beautiful tray!
Really you are just awesome. Your work is fantastic. Love you mam. 👌👍❤❤
Very very nice, thank you for sharing.
Beautiful. Gorgeous colors!!!!! Looks great with the coasters!!!
I love it... I hope you fell more in love with it too. I see you painted the edges that really helped. Maybe put the screws in the handles with a washer and that will give it more stability.
Gorgeous!! And since part of it didn’t record, you now have a perfect excuse to make another one 😊😊. You are progressing so well and so quickly with your resin art. Absolutely everything you’ve made is oh so pretty! Love watching you!! Thanks for the tutorial
Bonjour
Il est splendide!!!! 👍👍😊😊😊🌞🌞🌞🌹🍾
I think it’s absolutely beautiful Julie. You are really getting good at this resin journey. Lol
You pushed it in with all the clear you poured around the gold leaf. Hope you are ok and didn’t get injured from your slip.
Looking beautiful.🥰
I love it. I think this my favorite by far. I love the color. I know u see it better than us, but I like the gold leaf the way it is. It gives more dimension.
This is beautiful it may not be what you were looking for but great all the same!
Its beautiful!!! You're nuts if you're not happy with this tray.
Really beautiful it turned out great and I love how you made your own mold thanks for sharing !!!!
The end result looks lovely!
You're so adventurous and I love how you aren't afraid to jump in with both feet! I'm still only using resin to coat my paintings, I can't afford to get into the pastes, inks, and crushed glass, glitters, etc. However, I do enjoy watching you do your resin work. Looking forward to seeing where you go next! 💖💖
I’m in LOVE with this it’s beautiful 😍
This is just beautiful. Love to watch all the steps. You are great
Just an idea, you can find pretty antique handles at thrift stores 😉 loving this set..its my favourite. ❤
It looks like a slice of magical wood! I like it... the handles I wouldn’t have put in like that... but it’s nice
So lovely. Maybe you could try attaching the handles after it has cured, than you can see which side is prettier (I think the underside is so pretty) and then attach them. Either drill through and screw in the handles or else do a flood coat and place the handles on at that point. I really liked the effect you achieved. BEAUTIFUL!!
That tray is very pretty. I would gladly and proudly use it!
Living for your videos , so relatable , so fun x
I’ve been toying with the idea of resin and serving trays, and had hoped to see your spin on it! You cheer up my days for sure! Julie, I’d LOVE to see you do a beach theme tray in this mold sometime if you’re able. Love to you! I’m melting over here in Texas.
I like this tray very much although I would have taken the white and gold handles since this is my favorite color combination. I also like the thickness and the gold leaf is still there. Maybe casting the resin and then finally sprinkle the stained gold glass without resin on top at the end.
Cursed😂. I love the colors and designs.
It's gorgeous!
wow very impressed J
This is so incredibly gorgeous!!!!
VERY BEAUTIFUL
What are those two you put together your work is gorgeous
So very classy and beautiful especially with the coasters!! You always make me laugh!
Great job Julie!!!
💛🧡💛🧡💛🧡💛
Beautiful piece Julie. Always love to watch you! If you do this again, you may want to think about putting the handles on after the first layer dries so that they don't sink all the way through to the bottom. Your flood coat will hold them in place. Great job though. Love to watch your experimentation!
Thankyou
You’re so cute! I talk to you too on your videos. You did a fantastic job with the tray! I love the colors too! 😊
Very nice tutorial. How did you make the mould. Please do a tutorial on that as well. 💕💕
Absolutely beautiful ❤️🧡!! Thanks for sharing the process 👍. I hope one day I can try to make something with resin..I enjoyed watching your awesome video 😊 .
I love it!!! Ty 4 sharing! 🥰
I think it’s a stunning set!!!
I love this the mold is great I’d make my own as buying them can get expensive!!!
That is stunning! Love the handle choice♥️
New subscriber...and I can't wait to start making huge projects like yours. This tray is gorgeous. Can I purchase it....
Turned out Gorgeous
Hey thanks for sharing.. fun video... if you were to sand off the corners does it look okay? or need a polish or resin to make it look better? Please advise.
This video has been rough for you, but oh my gosh, that is one beautiful tray. Very good job.
Beautiful! Thanks For Sharing.
Hi Julie...I love all ur work! Just a little tip on resin use...only use nitrile gloves when working with resin not latex. Latex is not strong enough to withstand the chemicals in resin which is probably why ur getting skin rashes. Amazon sell boxes of nitrile gloves FYI. Also never use alcohol to wipe resin from your skin only use soap & water or baby wipes because alcohol opens ur pores more and it causes the resin to seep into your skin. Just little pro tips I’ve learned over the years🥰
So beautiful. ❤❤❤
I like it. I think I'll try making a mold and doing a ocean/shell theme one.
you should pour your color about mid way to the edges, then your clear will push it outward. your clear is flooding from below and pushing the light flecks of color over. Also, most resin pours are 'upside down' meaning your top side is usually the bottom of the piece. That's generally how pre-made molds are meant to be used. Oh! also! you could stick your handles on with your topcoat that way you can decide later what side you like best... and they will stick up farther for use.
That looks fantastic! I love the way it left a design (lines)
Oh my goodness it's Gorgeous!!!!
Glad you saved it!!
Just a suggestion maybe try using a tweezers to take your gold leaf out. 😃
