What american people call "soccer" is called "football" everywhere else in the world. Wemby speaks a good english but he is not american : he talks about the "football" he knows. At least, this sport is played with a ball and you touch it with your feet. One of these days, an american guy will explain why america calls "football" a sport where nobody touch the ball with his feet but the kicker... Nobody think about this but I think having background of football is somehow useful for basket ball and vice versa.
Playing as a goal keeper helped him a lot : he reads the ball trajectories very well and both arms are fast and accurate.
