Pastor Flowers… honestly your announcement to reduce your Thursday online teaching, spiritual counseling to just every other Thursday hit me hard! You and Tanisha have no idea how much I look and push forward to your sermons, spiritual nuggets. It’s truly had become one of the few things that I look forward to experiencing each week. Maybe this is a sign that I’m bleeding. Im sure im not the only one who feels this way. May I suggest that there be a guest pastor or a prerecorded platform that can continue to nourish and give substance each Thursday. Your ministry and series has definitely been so timely... Rhema word for me personally and I will truly miss you guys on every Thursday night! I’m already having withdrawals!! Redefine Thursday online again 😇

This messages brought me to tears tonight. I've been single since 2017 and I have built up a wall of protection. No one can get in and I can't get out, he said tonight "Your not an Introvert You In to hurt". I've pushed so many women away because I didn't want to be hurt. God spoke to me tonight and said SHOW YOURSELF it's time to stop hiding. TRUST IN ME!!! I can't even finish this getting choked up again Thank Jesus Amen!!!!!

God is so intentional. One of my goals this year was to go to a therapist and I tried but I couldn’t afford it even with my insurance and then what do you know.. you come out with therapy Thursday and everything you said relates to what I’m going through rn. So thankful to God for you 💕
Sis does your job have an employee assistance program (EAP) or work-life balance program? If so, they'll help you cover therapy sessions. Also, there are many free options now because of COVID. Taraji P. Henson has an organization that is named after her father that was providing free therapy for African Americans at one while. If none of the other avenues offer you what you need, you can try 211 and they can steer you in the right direction. I hope this helps you. God bless you. 🙏🏽

You described me and my trauma completely. I needed this!!!!! Not sure how to move on from my divorce. And because of it it drudged up all my previous trauma. I needed this but how do we overcome it? Everyone says what we NEED to do but not HOW to do it.
Read your Bible and ask God Jesus is the counselor. He will tell you what to do to overcome it because he overcame the world and he shares his victory with his children
Went through a painful divorce in 2020, although I am still healing walking with the Lord and His Word has truly helped me.

Your teaching has greatly impacted me in soo many ways... However as a Black Licenced Therapist I think it's important to not minimize the value of Mental health therapy. We definitely ask more than " How does that make you feel" and meeting with a professional is crucial for your mental health just as seeing a doctor is crucial for physical health.... Those type of statements defer many, especially within the Black Community from seeking mental help when in actuality it is beneficial in so many ways.

Absolutely, Anyone who is a faithful listener to our ministry knows we are huge on mental health, internal health, and spiritual health and never defer people from getting the health they need, we need more anointed therapists, I am licensed and ordained as well! So I’m in the field with you and I know we ask more than “how did that make you feel?” I was only voicing what a sister was telling me “HER” therapist would ask her! That was her specific situation and encounter, not a generalization of all therapist! Therapy Thursday should serve as evidence, that we are for therapy!! We love you and need and honor what you do in the earth, blessings to you!
Counselor are good but they are not God. I have a therapist and some things I'd rather not go back and forth with her about because at the end of the day the spirit is my instructor and God has the final say. You are still just a man and you are helpful but you will never have the power of Jesus.

Wow what an introduction!!! This series has been such a global blessing to the body of Christ. I realized in my life that I had so much trauma I needed healing from. When I read the Bible I would hear about Jesus healing the sick. But only heard about physical healings. What about the emotional healings? That was harder to see clearly but I realized Jesus’s goal is healing. freedom. love and holiness so that means He heals people from emotional strongholds and trauma too! ✨🤍🕊

Oh my God I resonate with this so much
So good! I believe that my therapist is God sent. She uses EMDR )Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy with me. It’s intense, but God uses that technique to free me from so many things. I would recommend anyone who are suffering from trauma to look for a trauma informed therapist.
