Man I wish that first 1904 was mine! So nice. FYI, if you ever get a rattler with the coin rotated like that, you can hold the slab firmly in one hand and hit the wrist of that hand on your arm or some other solid surface. The coin will slightly move. You can do this until it’s back straight in the slab. As long as you don’t impact it anymore it will stay that way for you. They get shaken and moved by being sold and resold, and being shipped all over the country over the years. I’m surprised that people don’t spin them around correctly in the slabs once they have them. At least all the ones I’ve tried I’ve been able to adjust.
What is the coin loop that you use? You suggest a general loop or something more specialized? Your magnified coin images look far better than most people's coin UA-cam videos
Hello everyone! I've missed all you folks. I've been in the hospital since about week and a half before Christmas. Another enjoyable and educational video Ben 👍 😃
seems there are some saying CAC is much more likely to come back at you with "questionable color" or something like that with a coin that was otherwise graded and slabbed. So your "Toned" 1094 gold coin may not be treated nicely by CAC.
Ben it looks like someone may have tried to clean the rubber-band residue from the 1914D $20 holder with white spirit or turps, it tends to craze most clear plastics.
These seem to be default coins - MS62. Its gold its good. Graders rarely take strike into account. They also seem to be harder on silver. No longer fun, discourages collecting.
Really excited to see these I recently bought my first Gold piece (1926 quarter eagle) and I love it. Personally I'm very partial to the gold indian designs and the liberty head $20 I'd say most of these bean and one or two might gold bean

Hi Ben. That first 1924 Double Eagle sure has a lot of wear for it to be an MS coin. I wouldn't sticker it. *----------------------------------------------------------------------------->* 🦉
Ben,
Please never stop making videos
- Everyone
Thanks!
Oh, a new term for those marks... I call them scribbles, which isn't accurate but they are totally different than cleaning lines and die polish lines!
I love your comment... "sometimes it's just about what you enjoy seeing."
I think you could do an entire video about that and would love to watch it!

I use a rechargeable electric toothbrush on the slab corner. It works perfectly.
Oh great idea ima try that

Those are some fine looming gold coins... and a pretty penny. lol Thanks, Ben!
Hey Ben, love those old gold pieces, beautiful coins.
I learn a lot from your vids Ben, thank you.
New term for those marks--- SCHMEAR
Pcgs certified gold is the cats pajamas 🤓

25 years ago gold was $250-300/ounce very affordable

It is anybody's guess if they sticker.
The 1877 Indian cent might get a bean.

Que Sirhan, Sirhan. Whatever will bean, will bean.
Shadow marks.
Wow!
You'd be
far better off to send the coins back to PCGS for regrading.
$5 Indians are stunning
When it comes to grading, your opinion is superior to mine. But thanks for the looks.
i tend to like the coins that have more satin look. the ms63 liberty(not the proofy one) is what i would go for.
Nice coins!
That is some beautiful gold, Ben. Good eye by that collector for sure.

Did you say: "a lot of chingaderas"? That was funny!😄
Hey
The 1877 Indian cent a keeper. Melt all those gold coins 💰 .
Bean?

I think the word you are searching for, is really just - "superficial" - marks, nothing that warrants deeper inspection.
