17/20. Out on a couple of dates- the Regency period and the Slavery Abolition Act. I guessed at dates that were too early, and the name re the 12th century civil war. I wrongly guessed 'The chaos'.
Still a great result though! Yeah, the Anarchy isn't something you hear about too often, I guess. I hadn't heard of it until a few years ago, even though it was a major event in English history.
@@snazzyquizzes2336 I knew there was a war at that time but not what it was called, or so I thought. In fact as soon as I saw the right answer, the anarchy, it triggered a memory in my brain. Alas too late!
19/20. I lost on the Jacobite question. I thought they took the name from James II who was deposed by his own daughter Mary (II) and her husband William of Orange (William III), not from James the first who died from natural causes in 1626.
It's understandable, because the supporters of James II right to the throne, and subsequently of his son Bonny Prince Charlie, were known as Jacobites. I did get 20/20, but the one I was not completely sure of was the year slavery was abolished - my 19th century history is not too hot. If it hadn't been multiple choice I would have got 15 for sure and maybe a couple of lucky guesses - but I would never have got 20.
@@snazzyquizzes2336 This quiz was awesome. I am from Malta , but I am a history teacher so 19 out of 20 is just about right for me. However, I got Jacobean confused with Jacobite so I chose the wrong King James.
@@ianmiller5027 I did think about this, but the countries didn't unite until later on and England is the largest country with the most well-known history, plus I included a question on Scotland, plus the last nine questions refer to Great Britain as a whole.
12/20 thanks for the quiz.
You're welcome. Good result!
Somehow the nostalgic Brits manage to make their history so much more fun and easier to learn and remember than other nations.
Great test. I learned a little bit more than before. Thanx.
Good quiz
Thank you!
9/20 very good quiz!
Thank you!
Just one mate, then subbed, cheers.
Great quiz! But got only 9/20😊..thanks for nice quizzes😎😘😍
Not bad👏👏👏

10/20.😅😅👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
King John didn't actually sign he had his seal put on it.
Thanks for commenting. I guess when people say he 'signed' it's kind of metaphorical.
17 / 20... A lot of educated guesses in there... and a few uneducated guesses as well... Excellent quiz. Thank you.
You're welcome. Really great result.
Thank heavens! 100%! Had to get that for my own country! Phew!
100%? You certainly know your country's history!
Got 100% this time around.
I paused a few times to read the questions but got 17/20. 😊 pretty pleased with that
That's a really great result. You obviously have really good knowledge of British history!
@@snazzyquizzes2336 haha yeah the multiple choice helped though because someone of them were just through process of elimination lol
15/20. Not bad.
20/20 Have no idea how as did the Tudors and crop rotation three times at school! I blame the BBC.
Excellent! You obviously know more about British history than you thought!
18/20 I'm quite chuffed with that!😏
So you should be! That's a really great result!
20/20, three cheers and a tiger for me!
Excellent result.

12/20. I didn't do as well as I thought I would. I didn't pause though so I might have got a couple more with longer to think.
Good score though. Thanks for playing my quiz!
16/20. Good challenge for Americans.
16/20 is a brilliant result for someone outside of the UK!
17 not bad
Nope, very good indeed.
16/20 :).
Great work, again! Are you British, or American?
@@snazzyquizzes2336 I'm American.

who got lower than you lol
1 wrong.

Hardly a British quiz
Why do you say that?
