This was a blast to see surface, even if the show isn’t fully working properly and almost all of the dialogue is dubbed to Japanese. I thought it’d be important to credit some of the people who made this show possible: Tom Reidenbach, Dave Schweninger, Al Bertino, Bob Gurr, Bob Brunner, and Marc Davis were all very crucial in making this show. Also, Michael McGinnis was Andy and Bruce Belland was Matthew.
The show may not be firing on all cylinders (literally), but it is awesome to finally have footage of this show that is longer than 20 seconds! Very impressive stuff for the era it was made
Even though it's dubbed in Japanese, we finally have a full show with the ORIGINAL showtape songs!!!! Now, if only the folks at Watermouth Castle can translate and redub this tape so we have something similar to the original tape!
I’ve noticed some comments saying that the show isn’t in great condition and I don’t know which parts are. The show looks to be in decent shape. I haven’t seen much footage tbh so I don’t know which parts are out. The show does seem extremely complicated to work on though.
I remember the three cats, the lady hippo, the fire truck, and especially the dog. The show was in a small outdoor seated area, I saw it during the summer. The park seems to have taken very nice care of the animatronics in terms of fur/skin (this silicone or latex and the faux fur) and the animatronics seemed pretty fluid in motion. There wasn't as elaborate of a stage as what this had shown, but it had shown (from what i remember) all of the animatronics and the fire truck. The cats were behind glass to the right side along with the hippo, each in their own showing box, with what I think had curtains. It was fun. The show was in English.
@@PasqAnimatronics well now i am super confused. ive seen this show twice, i have never been to the UK, yet ive seen this show in person. this is creeping me out lol
This is a fantastic show and I really wish I would have gone and seen it in person if I Id only known about it back then But Sure glad to see it now, definitely tapping my paw to it😎💯🐾🐶👍🪕🎹🎶🎸

@@showbizcec4985 Yeah, it’s a shame how hard it is to get a video of the show working properly.

Yeah that would be nice if they could translate that and have something like the original show all the portions of it must have been awesome
OMG PASQ I CANT BELIEVE IT THAT WE NOW HAVE FOOTAGE OF THE JAPANESE CAPTAIN ANDY’S SHOW THIS IS SO BANANAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow,Wow,Wow, Pasq this is incredible. Thanks @BriarPatch for added information. Bob Gurr said the show came out too late, past what would be viable.
Finally more footage of the show not at Watermouth castle
We animatronics fans are eating good tonight.
Yeah no kidding this was the best part of my night and day🙋♀️🐶
Really cool! To be honest, it gives me Tokyo Disneyland vibes given that it's in both English and Japanese.

Hey Pasq, I am positive I saw this in Dollywood or a park in Missouri. Near Washington, Missouri.

@@willosfloppydrive Could it have been Silver Dollar City in Branson?
@@PasqAnimatronics It's a park called Watermouth Castle
@@willosfloppydrive Oh yeah. That’s in England though, not Missouri.
