Seelisberg 4K - Breathtaking views and gorgeous scenery in the heart of Switzerland

- Join us in a walking tour in Seelisberg, an idyllic Swiss village in the Canton of Uri. Seelisberg is located at 801m on a peninsula in Lace Lucerne, offering breathtaking views to the lake and the mountains.
Also, the Rütli meadow, according to legend the site of the original oath foundational to the Old Swiss Confederacy, is situated in the territory of the municipality.
Even the journey to Seelisberg is an experience: you can take a boat from any shore station to the Treib port all year round. From Treib, change to the funicular, which takes you to the Seelisberg sun terrace at 800 m above sea level, with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains.

I’m from a small town in Texas. After graduating high school I went here on a trip and fell in love. I studied international business and learned the German language partly because of how beautiful this place was. I went back there after graduating university with my mother and got to show her it which was such a special time. I joke that I want to retire there after living in the states, but we’ll see what happens.

Hallo! Der Seelisbergsee, (oft nur als "Seeli" bezeichnet), ist circa 2,5 Km von Seelisberg. Er ist direkt erreichbar mit dem Postauto ab Stans und dem Auto ab der A2, Ausfahrt Beckenried Süd.
