    I am REALLY looking forward to your social media planner. Would love a walkthrough!!! No joke, for those who are wondering, HB90 changed my life in all the best ways. I was able to publish three books that had been sitting around gathering dust, doubled my income by being proactive with my time and promotion, and still took weekends and health days off.
    The digital dashbox is adorable. I love seeing the new stuff every month!

    I live in Florida near Disney. Definitely can go with a stroller with shade flap. Generally plan your days in terms of which park you are going to and which rides or attractions you are interested in. Get fast passes ahead of time. There's wheelchair and stroller access everywhere. Strollers are common, just be patient walking from place to place cuz it can get crowded. Have fun!

    I did Disney with an infant. I need to add that my kids have been all over the world and are excellent travelers. They loved riding in the back of a C130 in sleeping bags, driving from AK to MA. Being flexible and making things fun for the kids makes travel and vacations so easy. But Disney with a 6 month old... It was fun for my older child and her dad. But I had the baby and it was frustrating to have to miss out on rides and have to cut the day short when she got overtired. And she was a chill baby. I’d hold off and celebrate with your hubby in Vegas. Take the kids to Disney when she’s old enough to know who Cinderella is. That trip was amazing! Not that they remember it.😂

    Loved the flip through as always. I’m in Disneyworld right now, and there are a lot of younger babies here. I worry about the heat, but if you’re going before it gets sticky, I say go for it. We rented a stroller for our 8 year old (our other is 13), and it was the best move ever. Worth every penny.

    We'll admit it. We are not good planners. We are in baby steps right now setting short, middle, and long term writing goals. We are going to finish current book this Friday and get it off for reviews and editing before a 10 day vacation starts. We will write 6 of vacation days 3 twenty minute sprints each way so this will be our 1st vacation were we are using a planned structured writing plan. Writing 6 hours out of 10 days does now make sense where it didn't 6 months ago. We are excited for results.
    Congratulations on the baby girl and wishing you continued good health and a painless move!

    A 7 month old is not too young. My sister and I took her daughter to Disney when she was 6 months. We got some very cute photos and she was such a great sleeper. My sister is having her 3rd child now and when the baby is 7 months, we are planning another Disney trip. Great baby photos because they don't get scared of the characters just yet.

    You asked about taking a baby to Disney. When my son was young (sorry - but I honestly don't remember how old he was - he's turning 40 this year!, but less than a year), we went. And it was AWESOME! Seriously - almost easier than being there with a toddler! I wasn't able to go on a lot of rides, but it was just fun to walk around with the stroller and watch him watch the little birds and the people. I didn't have another child - so it might make a difference to go with a 7 year old and a toddler, so something you'll want to consider.

    Hi! In regards to Disney I've always been in the mindset that Disney is a big trip not to mention expensive so I would personally wait until the new girl is old enough to remember it since its such a magical place especially when you are a kid! But Happy Anniversary!

    I've taken my sis and nieces to Knotts Berry Farm (down the street from Disneyland, way more affordable) when one was about 6 months old. A good number of the rides in the kid's section should be able to accommodate an itty-bitty (think train rides and slower stuff with bench seating). With two adults it should be easy enough to swap out and have one sit out for those rides that don't. Also, in the interest of saving time (although, admittedly I don't know how well this would work at Disney, their line cues are massive), if my sis was on a ride with the older niece that baby couldn't go on, I'd hop in another line and save them a spot while I waited. You certainly won't be able to do as much, but we were able to do plenty and didn't feel like we lost out on anything. Ok, and as to the actual video content: love your videos, they're some of my favorite :)

    The last time I went to Disney, I had a 3.5 yr old, 1.5 yr old, and a 6 month old. We went with my extended family (though we spent a lot of that time just our nuclear family), so it was worth it. It wasn't too bad, and I don't regret taking him. I wore him in a Moby wrap, which gave me cover to nurse him while sitting on a bench out in the open, instead of finding a nursing room. I was able to watch the group's strollers and bags that way, which was convenient.

  • @WitchyPiper

    I wouldn't take a 6-7-month-old to Disney. You will not be able to enjoy yourself to the fullest, because someone will always have to be with the baby (even if she is a great sleeper). I cancelled my trip to Disney for the same reason and my baby is a great sleeper and can entertain herself very well. Disney is expensive enough to want everyone to enjoy themselves.
    Good luck with the move and the birth. A baby changes a lot (as you might now with your son) and it is not easy to adapt to the baby's whims.

  • @LeilaniLopez

  • @ElderandOakFarm

    It really depends on your baby and if here she gets fase being out at places like that mine is 7 months old and we have gone to things that lasts several hours A-day and he is fine with it and when we get home but it just depends on how your child reacts and if here she is going to get very cranky after being there for a couple hours and if you're gonna have to keep stopping and tending to him/her.

    Love your planner ! I from Florida and my advice do not take an infant to Disney , it’s to hot , too crowded , too many people from everywhere with all their germs . You won’t really enjoy it . Better to wait until both kids are old enough to be aware of where they are and you can enjoy it as a family . If you really want to splurge and enjoy stay at tne park in one of their hotels .

    new here! love your set up for this month! You mentioned that you'd prefer a Silhouette over the Cricut and I'm curious as to why. Was planning on investing in a Cricut as many of the reviews were better but I might have to reconsider...

    • @HeartBreathings
      @HeartBreathings  5 років тому

      Glad you're here! I am specifically talking about making your own stickers from Etsy shops. Almost every Etsy shop gives cut files for silhouette, but I've only found one that gives files for cricut. Because the print margins are different, the silhouette files don't work for cricut so it takes me a long time and a lot of workaround to be able to use the Etsy cut files! I like the cricut fine otherwise, but if you're mainly using it to buy stickers from Etsy to cut yourself, I think you're better off with silhouette

  • @ElderandOakFarm
    @ElderandOakFarm 5 років тому

    Can you explain why you recommend a silhouette over a cricut? I'm thinking of buying one or the other soon.

    • @HeartBreathings
      @HeartBreathings  5 років тому +1

      I don't think the size works for cricut. If I use the stickers and things that need to be cut, I open them in silhouette software first, move them around to get the right print size for cricut and then save as pdf. Then I have to usually run the pdf through a converter to turn it into a png. It's a pain.

    as a former theme park employee, bringing a child that young will just be a stress on you guys. disney is very accommodating for infants and families, but it's just like carrying a screaming backpack that needs to stop and interrupt your fun every two hours. plus, with all those people... there's a LOT of germs. and i've seen complete strangers think it's okay to just walk up and touch other stranger's babies in the parks. it's weird. i personally wouldn't do it until they were at least old enough to understand what's going on around them and eat solid food. maybe out of diapers.

    I've never taken kids to disney. But, the pros are she should get in free, right? She's too young to run off from you, she won't want all the toys all the time yet. Cons: she'll be too young to remember anything. Depending when you go, the heat may be awful.
