I made a comparison of before and after drying your background, and it was quite a dramatic change. I am wondering if the self-leveling principal of the sealant is why. And if another type would be better used in this application at least for the initial pours, And it would be interesting to see this, done just like this but not working the colors - for it seems as if this sealant wants to do that itself and I bet you might get the results you were looking for...
Love how you did this. I seriously want to do my front door! It has a few panels on the door.wanted just to a mixed color with the spit and seal with resin. What do u think?
I do part time Engraving I did my deck posts a few with glow epoxy they turned out awesome your seahorse also gave more ideas ty let me know what you think of my deck ua-cam.com/video/7sHVI7BSqSE/v-deo.html
There is no glass. The stencil was done between dried layers of epoxy coats which gives the impression it was done onto glass. The video shows each layer she did. She did an AWESOME job!!!
Sorry to have taken so long to respond, I've had my hands full with my elderly parents! There is no glass on these doors just wood panels. However you can do epoxy on glass as well.
Hi Sharon, This is a large plastic stir wand I purchased some time ago. It was part of a epoxy starter kit. It is not necessary to have something like this...often I use a large popsicle stick or a paint stick from Home Depot. I don't use tongue oil. The Unicorn Spit is mixed in with the epoxy. I let it dry for 24 hours then I stenciled using Unicorn SPit. Once the Unicorn Spit was dry (probably 30 minutes or so) I poured a clear coat of epoxy which brings out the bolder colors of the Unicorn SPit. Unicorn Spit dries dull but the becomes vibrant with either an oil based sealer (or in this case the epoxy acts as the sealer). My outer (the dark blue) frame I used Polyurethane to seal it. Sorry for the confusion but I hope this helped to clarify.
Love it! Thanks for sharing with us!💙💙
This is such a beautiful idea. Thank you for sharing!!
absolutely stunning!!
Wow I love them! Nice job!!!
Love your finished product. Only criticism I offer would be please refrain from saying "Um".

Thx yes I learned not to use the blower everything went flying all over 🤣👍🏻❤️
I have been told that water based add in items are a nono with epoxy...does this affect your curing?
Just found this AMAZING video! Question,: How long did you let the seahorse dry before adding your final clear coat?

Beautiful ♥️ what brand of epoxy did you use?
Would like to know if this can be done on glass?
What does the polyurethane do?
Would look awesome with glow powder

Did you work both sides of the glass or did you do all the work on one side
Lorena Campana it’s a cabinet door.

Thanks for sharing. Couple of questions: What are you using as a stir stick? if you are just using tongue oil could you stencil over the unicorn spit?
