Hive's Parkour Worlds Has Some Problems

- In this Hive Minecraft video, I talk about and review The Hive's new game, Parkour Worlds. Some points I make are the lack of replayability in the game, and the fact that it feels like a step down in quality compared to the Hive's other games, like Skywars and Bedwars.

Parkour worlds to me feels like it’s not a full game… feels like it’s in beta. Not many levels, limited replay ability and no way to spend any of the stars currently makes it feel somewhat unfinished. I hope that the game either gets giant updates or small consistent updates to make people keep coming back.
couldn’t agree more. it literally just feels like they made an entire game out of lobby parkour and didn’t add much else to it

Parkour worlds is just parkour if you don't like parkour don't play it lol remember alot of the hive players are young kids who aren't experts at parkour

The volcano World is mostly impossible unless ya spend hours trying to beat them

im not going to play the last level in the lava world
and the new hive skyblock that will be its own server will make updates slower for the have main hive sever they will be put all their attention in to the new server so the parkour worlds will be the last game in the hive for while
yea lol I wouldn’t recommend the last level it’s tough, but yea they prob will focus on the skyblock server but I hope it doesn’t turn into what happened with hypixel where that’s their only focus
why do you only have 105 subs
well the channels pretty new but hopefully we can get that number up
not to brag but my time on the dragon level was about 822 minutes

I got 3 extra coins on jungle because it kicked me out when playing and then the coins regenerated when I started playing it again so I got 23 coins on one map and that was cool UNTIL I got to dragons dare or whatever when I had like 87 coins or something then I got kick out AGAIN lost my ALL my 87 coins (but only the ones from volcano) and I went to redo the parkour the next day and I got sick and then I did the volcano when I was sick and now im still sick if you're wondering so that was my experience when the parkour worlds released

yea that’s a pretty good way to at least get people to replay the maps
"leaderboards to every map" they wont add this since the game literally has no anticheat and u can finish all maps in under 10 seconds with cheats
You can see on the API that people have beaten it in 500ms (0.5 seconds) 😭

One reason people might not play parkour maps is because on stuff like console you can’t just download them and instead you gotta pay or play sum like cubecraft parkour which is normally really random

My opinion is that it's nice but it only took me one day to finish it. It doesn't even have levels or a reward in the end, you really don't have a reason to play it. If you want to do parkour, you can just do the ones in the main hub, those can actually give you rewards. I don't understand why hive made this
They are trying out newer stuff, the sonic event was like 4 years ago and the hive changed, you have great points but i feel like u gotta be less critical its been a minute when they actually did parkour stuff really.
ehhh I mean parkour courses aren’t really anything new to them or anyone else, I just like to be critical because ik they can definitely make a better game than this, and hopefully they update it to make it better :D

I thought maybe the last levels would be super compex neos and weird jumps but it was just a lot of slightly modified 4 block jumps

I wouldn't say Parkour Worlds is below their standards. They have made simple game modes like Ground Wars, Block Party, and similar ones like Deathrun.
Although one might think, "I could make this if I really wanted to," it would be hard. First off, you have to make 16 parkour maps with different themes and create many custom models with different mechanics.
The reason why it's short or easy is that many Hive players either suck at parkour or are gods at it. They made everything easy, with only one course being kinda hard. I would say they should've kept a balance between easy and hard parkours.
I also criticize Parkour Worlds for how you would never play it after beating it. What I basically said was, "I don't see Parkour Worlds getting many players in the future because you just beat the parkour and maybe try a couple more times to beat your time before quitting the game mode. For a speedrunner, this is good, but for a new player, this is a game mode they only play once."
The reason why it doesn't feel finished is that they're working on Hive Skyblock, and people were complaining about the delays in releasing the game mode.
It's probably not high quality because you can't make parkours that advanced.
Sure, if you download a map, it would be similar, but you aren't essentially playing Parkour Worlds because of the 3D models, which most parkour maps lack.
I've come to terms with the fact that it would be really hard for them to make anything as good as the Sonic event because of how big an update it was.
Good video. I hope to see more Hive content that constructively criticizes the Hive so that it becomes a better server.
yea good points, just feels like there wasn’t too much effort but if their skyblock is as good as it can be that’ll definitely make up for it
There are a lot of different advanced parkour jumps and verity wise hive only having 4 maps or 16 runs/routes is tiny compared to even cubecraft imo hive dropped the ball on this one

6:33 only 3 games I really enjoy on cubecraft. Parkour, PVP, Minerware. And ngl Parkour is only thing I'm sure Cubecraft made much better
I used to like block wars before they made it 10v10s, but those games are fun too
it was one of my main reasons I changed my main server to Hive

Bed Wars and Parkour Worlds update was planned for 2023
Apparently both were not finished despite the time
I guess they forget the main server because they are busy with the new server they are supposed to launch at the end of the year
but that denotes the null or minimal importance they have in the community of players
there is a lot of dead time months without events and some events they last too long
the most reasonable thing would be weekly mini events and a big event every month to have more activity on the server
but it will never happen like the quesmaster V2 we didn't get it
events could be pretty cool ig, but honestly I think the best thing is to just update the server more often and more consistently

I think one thing to note is comparing it to other servers cubecraft and Galaxite both have parkour modes and both of those servers have more maps more features, cubecraft has a leader board and modifiers like jump boost or blindness, and galaxite has 200000 maps and the ability to build your own maps. The hives parkour is inferior to both galaxite and cubecraft what’s the point in releasing this?
yea that’s true actually, imo galaxite has the best parkour game because of the fact u can make ur own maps and most of them are actually pretty good

I do like Cubecraft parkour, I just think galaxites is a little better and the best one on the featured servers. but cubecrafts is 2nd for me

While I’m not a fan of this game mode I do like Capture the flag but that game mode needs more updates to it like it needs bigger maps and more items and the players there are also so sweaty and emo-ish. Idk how else to call them but that’s not the point. hive has to update CTF and also remove parkour worlds
oof I’ve hated ctf since it came out tbh, but I think they should prob keep parkour worlds but they have to do something about it
@@Bearshadez ye. I mean CTF isn’t that bad if you try it but only capturing it 3 times is quite boring you should be able to capture the flag 5 times and the maps should be bigger and CTF should be more like the survival game tbh
cubecrafts ctf actually used to be super fun before they ruined it and made it 10v10
@@Bearshadez aw damn. I haven’t played cubecraft before only visit it about 3-4 times and it ain’t my type of server tbh. But everyone is different. Also I’mma hope that hive doesn’t follow the same concept

I do not get why they didn't add leaderboards, it's simple yet so effective, giving you an incentive to replay this for your improvement.
yea leaderboards are prob the easiest way to really improve the game instantly that I can think of, but apparently cheaters have beaten it really quick already so that might mess it ip

Dude i need help why is my ping good on every server but when i try to join the hive it says that its 300 ?
idrk, but my best guess if u weren’t laggy anywhere else is maybe hive was lagging or something and it was a server issue at the time. other than that I have no idea what could cause it im usually fine

This is just my opinion but this is how i feel about parkour worlds: some people are incapable of getting access to world downloads. But it is a very chill game if you are bored and have nothing to do. Also this is subtle but the custom blocks make it look more polished. I think it l looks fairly polished. And also it is a game for everyone, pc, console, mobile... everyone has equal playability and mostly skill, in skywars, mobile players and unexpierinced console players (because with expierince console is easy... ok like me) have struggle to beat pc sweats and lose trades to faster cps players. But parkour worlds everyone has skill and equal playability. Thia is just my opinions and i happen to like it a lot. Also your channel has a lot of potential, keep uploading and editing and youll one day have 1k or even yt rank! Edit: this is literally and essay
