I'm a little surprised that Michael Parks didn't make the list. In the late 60s into the early 70s Parks was hot in Hollywood, with hit films and a starring turn in the hit series Then Came Bronson. He had done interviews during this time decrying the violence in media at the time, especially since images of the Vietnam War were filling screens every night at news time. Some labeled him difficult to work with, which the actor/singer freely admitted to in a 1977 interview. For whatever reason, Parks was quietly blackballed by Hollywood. However, aside from his gold record selling country and western music to fall back on, he also found sporadic roles in independent films. His guest starring role as a sheriff killed at the beginning of From Dusk Till Dawn put him back on the map in a big bad way, leading him to work with the hottest directors in town, including names the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez and Kevin Smith.
If the races were reversed, it wouldn't had been a big deal. Hypocrisy at it's best. I'm pretty sure Richards would have been praised for standing up to his hecklers. But since he's white, obviously that didn't happen. So much for the infamous "white privilege" some people love to b*tch and cry about.
This list needs an update...Chris Noth is also facing sexual assault allegations. That got him fired from "The Equalizer" TV reboot that stars Queen Latifah.
In some cases, I think social media does more damage than good. Actors like Chaplin, Gina Carano, and James Woods are immensely talented, and I personally don't give a damn about their political opinion. There are plenty of people who Express their opinions going the opposite direction who are widely accepted, and nothing is ever done... unfortunately, that's just how the world works. Jim Caviezel it's a particularly sad case, because to this day he still one of my favorite actors. And just about anybody who plays Jesus, gets the cold shoulder. He wasn't completely out, he had a long-running series on CBS it was really good, but I would like to see him back on the movie screen.
The funniest part ab Kathy Lee Gifford is the South Park episode where mister garrison tries to kill her and they all learn a lesson about threatening celebrities and public figures 😂.
I don’t know if he was really blacklisted; Anger Management lasted a few seasons. He also occasionally appears in SingleCare commercials with his father.
I grew up with Shia and Megan in the first two Transformers movies! They both did a great job. After that, I became a major fan of Shia. Hopefully he has fought his demons and is able to get his shit together.
And so were many people of his time, I didn´t see anything happen to them. Did I, David? I think his political views were the reason he was black listed. At that time there were a lot of important people in the US who were fans of Hitler.
That's true. I don't agree with a lot of things he says but it's still not fair to blacklist him for that. I am not a fan of communism either but that doesn't mean I would blacklist people who voted for Bernie Sanders.
I hope people out there are smart enough not to crucify and destroy a actors career with only hearsay. Most people only tend to agree with a crowd instead of view actual facts. Lately tribalism has grown vastly.
Unfortunately it’s not just with celebrities. Anyone being accused of anything anywhere tend to receive admonishment by others based on whoever makes the biggest fuss. Like falsely accused school teachers, vengeful spouses hoping to win a divorce, etc.
Tippy got a raw deal and it was very unfair! Shebdidn't do anything, she just wasn't into him the way he wanted, big deal. Charlie Def. Got punished for nothing and he was amazing!!!! I'm kinda surprised Brendan Frasier isn't on here, he talked about being blacklisted.
O.J deserved to get blacklist, He Almost Decipated He’s Ex Wife and Murdered Ron For No Reason Just For The Hell Of It. I wouldn’t hire a convicted murderer.
Thanks for another part of where are they now. As some entries could be seen either way. Let’s just look at Kathrine Heigl. When that “incident” happened she just got married and wanted to start a family. I believe to have read somewhere that she and her husband faced infidelity issues and then adopted two kids almost back to back. When she wanted to start again, she has gotten older and as you know the older you get as a woman in Hollywood the less job offers you get…
You forgot about the actress and activist Sacheen Littlefeather. She was blacklisted and shot after she gave Marlon Brando's pro-Natives speech at the 1973 Academy Awards. After she was shot in front of his house Marlon Brando cut all ties with her.
Part of that blacklisting may have come from the fact that she was a liar and pretender. She died recently and her own sisters came out and said she pretended to be Native American. Her last name was Cruz, not Littlefeather.
According to the media he wasn't blacklisted because the public hasn't canceled him (but yet Hollywood won't hire him so I still call that blacklisted). Hope that changes soon and he starts getting roles again.
Only thing James Woods consistently gets offers to return in nowadays is his role as Hades in the Kingdom Hearts games, and honestly, it’s the only good thing he’s got left. From 2002 to 2022 and beyond, Hades’ quick-talking, deal-making, flame-haired, deadpan demeanor can only be properly embodied by James.
I wholeheartedly agree with the director Josh Trank blacklisting because how could he direct the very first comic book that The Great and Late ⭐️Stan Lee created and Not have 🌟Stan Lee do a cameo? What really surprised and angered me more was that the movie was made when He was still alive! 🙏 May His soul Rest In Peace. The blacklisting that surprised me the most was that of ⭐️Jim Caviezel because he was perfect for the role of Jesus in 🎥 The Passion of the Christ. I know that the movie was a little too violent, but it’s based on the truth! Besides now we have movies were people are being killed left and right for fun.

Wait a minute....you briefly SHOW Kevin Spacey (15:48) but you didn't ADD him to this list? What's up with that???
What about Roman Polanksi?
Michael Richards will always be a legend in my book.
I think you are very loving.❤️❤️❤️
If the races were reversed, it wouldn't had been a big deal. Hypocrisy at it's best. I'm pretty sure Richards would have been praised for standing up to his hecklers. But since he's white, obviously that didn't happen. So much for the infamous "white privilege" some people love to b*tch and cry about.
This list needs an update...Chris Noth is also facing sexual assault allegations. That got him fired from "The Equalizer" TV reboot that stars Queen Latifah.
Surprised R Kelly didn't make the list
I think you are very loving.❤️❤️❤️
I grew up with Shia when he was acting in the TF franchise. I hope he makes a good comeback
that's how I got introduced to transformers and Shia.
Just watched to listen to your voice. ❤ your voice narrator girl
Do you care that Chaplin had relations with underage girls?
The funniest part ab Kathy Lee Gifford is the South Park episode where mister garrison tries to kill her and they all learn a lesson about threatening celebrities and public figures 😂.
I'm surprised Charlie Sheen from "Two and a Half Men" isn't on here
Disappointed that one major actor was not mentioned in this video. Hint! Two and a half Men. Yup.. definitely should have been in this video for sure.
Apparently he's still winning! 🤣
Yes he totally belongs on this list 💯👍
I don’t know if he was really blacklisted; Anger Management lasted a few seasons. He also occasionally appears in SingleCare commercials with his father.
Being blacklisted is different from doing everything possible to destroy your own life.
Hes not blacklisted
I grew up with Shia and Megan in the first two Transformers movies! They both did a great job. After that, I became a major fan of Shia. Hopefully he has fought his demons and is able to get his shit together.
You have a very low bar for greatness.
@@johnnytable844 Shia has so much potential. He is an excellent actor and at heart a really good human.
I would love to narrate an episode of top 10 some day 😅
did that
I truly hope you get to do it :)
@@TheTonyahawk 😁😁 thank you!! I would be the happiest person on earth right then and there
Roman Polanski is missing from the list.
He should be on this list he's career is definitely over
@@angelaholmes8888 His career should have ended after that awful rape. I cannot understand why Hollywood stars still worked with him for years.
If Ezra Miller isn't careful, he may find his name on this list too
If???
Pretty sure the damage is done
Danny Masterson too
Too late.
The fact that Chaplin was intrested in girls who were too young was also a reason he was blacklisted.
is that so?
At that time no
And so were many people of his time, I didn´t see anything happen to them. Did I, David? I think his political views were the reason he was black listed. At that time there were a lot of important people in the US who were fans of Hitler.
I think you are very loving.❤️❤️❤️
Isaiah Washington recently had a role for several seasons on the show "The 100"
Which is an excellent show
I need to tell someone that Shia was so damn good in Pieces of a Woman.
The little girl from hocus pocus got screwed by her creep of a father. That sorta sucks that happened.
Jimmy Kimmel making a dirty joke about Megan being sexualized a 15 years old is still inappropriate
You mean Transformers? Then you must also mean 21, not 15.
What about Chevy Chase
He'll be okay because he has a fortune from his family.
Thanks mojo
I think you are very loving.❤️❤️❤️
Rosanne Barr should have been included. Should not have included people that are currently in prision.
Hollywood: "sorry Woods, your views don't align with ours. Your career is over"
That's true. I don't agree with a lot of things he says but it's still not fair to blacklist him for that. I am not a fan of communism either but that doesn't mean I would blacklist people who voted for Bernie Sanders.
@@fan1985ful It's completely fair. People have every right to choose not to work with him for any reason they choose.
@@johnnytable844 No, it isn't. It's just the same as if you didn't want to work with someone who is of a different ethnicity. It's bigotry.
Could have said it myself. James Woods deserved better fr.
Somehow i knew Bill Cosby would be number 1 on this list, Curse you Cosby.
He's 84 years old and hasn't kicked the bucket yet, at this point it would be a miracle for everyone if he did.
Yup I know r Kelly probably om here too narvey winstein too
R Kelly: 😭😭😭😭“Y’all Are Killing Me With This Shit!”
I assumed Shilabouf or however his name is spelt
Michael Richards will always be the biggest "wtf" moment
Blacklisting, erasing, and cancelling, this is why I'll stick with physical media 👍
You are using digital media now
@@mitchdavis6001 OK
I hope people out there are smart enough not to crucify and destroy a actors career with only hearsay. Most people only tend to agree with a crowd instead of view actual facts. Lately tribalism has grown vastly.
I think you are very loving.❤️❤️❤️
Unfortunately it’s not just with celebrities. Anyone being accused of anything anywhere tend to receive admonishment by others based on whoever makes the biggest fuss. Like falsely accused school teachers, vengeful spouses hoping to win a divorce, etc.
@@TalentCaldwell A lot of it is based on jealousy.
I'm surprised I didn't see Kevin Spacey on this list.
Top Ten Worst Things Hollywood has Ever Done
That be more than 10
You would need multiple videos for that.
Bc
P
Famous ppl who are being blacklisted by the public or should be
(Glad depp wasn't on this list even though he was)
#1 A. Heard
Suprising to know about Thora... if it was me I would be bitter to my dad for that
Her mother was an even bigger porn star.
If you don’t act like a professional, no one will treat you like one.
Shia is outstanding, his last two movies were great.
That is a matter of opinion, Martin.
Celo green took his role as the crazy obsessed hot tub to heart 😂😂😂😂
Tippy got a raw deal and it was very unfair! Shebdidn't do anything, she just wasn't into him the way he wanted, big deal. Charlie Def. Got punished for nothing and he was amazing!!!! I'm kinda surprised Brendan Frasier isn't on here, he talked about being blacklisted.
It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minutes to ruin it.
Warren Buffett
This video has to be updated with Will Smith being barred from the Academy for a decade.
Isaiah Washington had a good run in that OJ mini series with Cuba Gooding Jr… though Cuba is ironically ALSO on his way towards the blacklist,
Drake Bell should have be on this this list.
He was sentenced to 2 years of probation, 200 hours of community service, and no contact with that girl ever again.
He was already washed up before getting in trouble
O.J deserved to get blacklist, He Almost Decipated He’s Ex Wife and Murdered Ron For No Reason Just For The Hell Of It. I wouldn’t hire a convicted murderer.
Shame about Thora Birch, I loved her in Ghost World, she should give her father a break and get new management.
Chaplin: I don’t want to testify.
US Government: Sir, get out, of the country.
When she wanted to start again, she has gotten older and as you know the older you get as a woman in Hollywood the less job offers you get…
Good vid
Wish Thora would've lasted longer on TWD
Ikr me 2
You forgot about the actress and activist Sacheen Littlefeather.
Will Smith should be added to this list
I'm surprised that Johnny Deep wasn't on this list. He was blacklisted pretty recently & it's a big thing
According to the media he wasn't blacklisted because the public hasn't canceled him (but yet Hollywood won't hire him so I still call that blacklisted). Hope that changes soon and he starts getting roles again.
Never been this early
That gasp at the start of OJ segment says it all
The guy was canceled for playing Jesus Christ
Hollywood is a place of sin and sexual predators. Of course they hate Jesus. They father and god is the devil!
It's funny how murdering someone gets you the same punishment in Hollywood as saying something bad about your director...
