Fedor is a machine with his cue and never have I seen any1 else jump with that precision. It's like he knows exactly how hard and where he should hit the target ball.
Boring or not call it what you will but there's a reason why Fedor is a World Beater. He plays at "his" tempo and is very methodical and if it works for him, so be it. All Champions (most) play at this tempo that'll keep you parked in your seat for what seems eternity.

Hey Ken , a lot of these tournaments have the 3 point rule . Balls pocketed on the break are 1 point each and balls behind the head string are 1 point each. Any combination of 3 points is a legal break . Fedor only pocketed 1 ball on the break and only 1 ball behind the head string. The cue ball does not count . Interestingly, I think the incoming player can take the shot or give it back to the breaker . However if he gives it back to the breaker , only the breaker can push. So in this case Neil's comes to the table after Fedor's illegal break and has a shot on the one so he takes it but if Neil's did not like the shot he cannot push he can only give it back to Fedor . Fedor can than push . Sorry if I blabbed on too long .
@@charleskennedy8695 The object balls only need to have broken the head string at some point to count, so they don't need to be up table after they come to rest. We apply this rule in Finland for the two highest divisions. I like it, slow break is not good for the 9-ball reputation.
@@charleskennedy8695 As you said, 3 point rule. The 7 ball never reaches the head string. Gorst checks it when moving away from the table, but it's not high enough. Camera angle is a bit off, but you can see the line marked on the table.
@@nakke3 Oh I see . Based on your first reply to me I thought you were suggesting that some of the object balls did pass through than out of the head string area so I went back and watched it again and confirmed that there was not enough balls that even made it to the head string . 42:41 - 43:30.... am I the only one that noticed this...can someone please tell me why Fedor broke the balls and made 1 on the break and just stopped shooting and let Neils back to the table to shoot...he obviously didn't even notice that he had made a ball on the break but its easy to notice when a ball is missing even for me...and especially for pro players...no doubt Neils noticed but being down 6-1 he elected not to tell him he made a ball..where is the ref...when getting the shot after an opponents dry break you check the layout for patterns and pro players will easily notice a ball missing because of thinking of the potential pockets for each ball and thinking about the shots ahead for the pattern/position to play...obviously the 9 ball is still on the table and pro players think 4+ balls ahead...you always count the balls on the table after a break to ensure that you indeed did not make one...its easier to notice a ball did go in when the person breaking doesn't know because you go through the rack mentally before shooting...which of course you don't do when coming dry on a break or thinking u came dry...pretty sure that it was the 5 ball that he made on the break which proves 100% Neil's knew a ball went on the break...making the 7 or 8 gives a very slight chance that a barely above average player would not notice a ball made on the break and just start shooting and not say anything...0% chance a pro does not notice that the 5 ball is missing...he did it intentionally but its not cheating until u get caught I guess...what fedor doesn't know cant hurt him... Neil's bringing the chalk close to him and coming to the table when it was not his shot confused him into thinking he got nothing on the break...could have even been done intentionally...who knows...look how long it took Neil's to get to the table to shoot after placing the chalk...hesitation proves he knew that a ball went in because he did not bring his cue stick to the table when passing the chalk...he would have used it and not pass it...
They were using 3 point rules that must 3 balls in or passing the kitchen line or both of them, fedor make 1 ball and only the 7 that passed the kitchen, so there’s an illegal break according to 3 point rules
Fedor is a beast but they need to stop with the slow play and rack inspection. Pool needs a 20 second shot clock. It's a sad day when Cornhole and Darts make it on ESPN and pool isn't. This is part of the reason.
