still remember the first time I met you.. you calling me just outside of the train show, been cool watching your videos then and now look at you, I got one of each of the paints coming, can't wait, your excitement talking about it at ovr that time just had me chomping at the bit to get them
Watching your video on the big screen TV here in the hotel, that locomotive is amazing! Also saw in Model Railroad News you have plans to do the C30/C36-7s which I'm super hyped about! When will the SD60F be available in hobby stores? Just subbed to your channel too, take care!
Will you be releasing the 4 pane windshield safety cab as a separate item please? I need several to put on some of my locomotives. The only company that I know of, Detail Associates, hasn't done them for several years. Maybe you can release this cab, even as only as a kit. Good looking locomotive which fills a void in modelling Canadian Railroads.
That is bitchin' Ben!! Awesome stuff. I like the bottom truck detail and how it's not flat. I gotta get me one but now idk which one lol, that NAFTA one looks pretty sharp.
Love it. 1 thing tho. Would there be anyway not to have the number boards on with F8. As some times that comes in handy if your doing a yard view, other than that great model
@@auroraminiatures I understand that but it seems like a haste since other manufacturers are doing the separate number board thing. Also some people don’t have the skills to use a lok programmer or have one.
I ordered two; one in the as delivered and the other one in the NA Scheme both with DCC / SND. I hope I don't drop them on the ground. Whats the warranty like?
Nice, like how you have the traction motors/trucks to a new level. Is there anything that can be done about the bleed through on the ditch lights without dimming the lights? If no, Make sure all lights have same brightness. I would rather have all lights the same brightness even if dim. I have one on order to use as pool power with BNSF engines.

3:41 that's impressive underbody truck detail that shows the traction motors, Nice!
Great work Ben! I am excited to get one. That looks to be a top notch model.
I remember these when they were in service! They're such a fantastic unique engine
They were junk.
SUPER FANTASTIC MODEL
Great Video, those are some of my favorite locos!!!
Very nice model, can't believe you do detail on the underframe and trucks!
Aren't you in the RSS Discord?
How about the HR616 next???
Ya man👍 We talked at OVRR Pop Event. The stuff your putting forth is top notch.Ill be needing one of them.🚂🇨🇦
The detail is incredible!
Im waiting patiently!!! I love the vid bro! Great job. Cheers.
Awesome!
Will you guys have a table at the Springfield show in Jan 2022? Would love to see you models up close.
No, but we have plans to attend other various shows in the future.
Will the DCC ready version have moving fans that work on DC analog? if not, would adding a digital decoder allow them to function?

I like the way the traction motors are done on the underbody of the trucks. It would be nice if scale trains and Athearn Genesis 2.0 use that method.
Great job on these. Can't wait for mine.
Noooo! Im going to miss the deadline..... my dream locomotive, so close yet so far
Do you fine folks plan on doing EMD SD70ACe?
Amazing job with the sd60f
Can you do an accurate sd40-2w next
I know you said 3 paint schemes, but is it possible to purchase an undec?

Nicely done dude.
How are these coming along? Will they be ready soon?
Want to know how to become a dealer. Thank you
Now the HR616 would be a Great Model, and a departure from yet another EMD?
"yet another EMD" these were never made in plastic before
Will there be another run of these soon?
GREAT MODEL! Can't wait to see it in person. By the way, do the fans actually spin or is it still being fine tuned?
The fans don't spin on the sample shown, but they are being worked on. Video: fb.watch/9gKhspOj96/
Any updates on when it will be in the stores ?
This summer, if no further delays
How quiet does it run with the sound off? Motor noise, gear noise? regards, NS

All lighting functions can be remapped using an ESU LokProgrammer or DCC system.

@@coquitlam_railfan5686 CV method still works too, just not as convenient

Will the bleed-through on the ditch lights be fixed on the production model?
Yes we will fix!
Maybe I missed it in the video, but what speakers are included in the sound versions?
Dual 11x15mm sugar cubes
Looks awesome. Being super picky but is there any way to reduce the light bleed on the ditch light housings. Other than that, top notch.
We'll sort out the light issues before production.

I thought the sd70m-2 had the 710g3a prime mover
SD70M-2s have the 16-710G3C
production of the 710 started in 1983
Drunk Bee!!!
Interesting. Veeeeeeeery interesting.
Will you offer undecorated, unassembled version? Looks good!
No undec version for this run. We'll do it in next run if enough demand.
Ordered mine on pwrs
