Thank you, Vincent and panelists. I don't know when this was recorded, but it was posted on November 8, 2024, two days after the results of the election were final. I'm afraid that the good work of public health institutions, as need of improvement as they may be, will be defunded and food safety as well as every aspect of health will suffer. Keep strong, hold on, support Microbe TV and other vital sources of science-based information.
Thanks for another great episode. I share TWiM, TWiV, and Immune episodes with my undergraduate students. I will be adding this episode as a resource for my Listeria case study.
54:39 seems to be pretty important that almost all listeria cases result in hospitalization. Not sure why nobody ever mentions how much more dangerous listeria is vs say salmonella
Crucial Info! Details of: spread mech, US states w/highest risk, livestock antibiotic overuse, and use of vinegar to inhibit/kill bact. Huge outbreak occured when melons were cold-stored w/o pre-cooling -due to condensation aiding bact. survival.
Thanks for the great podcast. There is one request though--in the show note, there is a UA-cam video you quoted. But there is no link to the video. Yes, I can copy/paste the string into UA-cam to search for it. Still, it will be great to make it a clickable link. Thanks.

@@marthabeck3981 of course they do, we're all knee-deep in censorship, because people fear opposing views and loss of profit.
