I literally planned to build this Eliot 60W amplifier,
    i got an arround 90va 34v 0 34v power transformer,
i got some good caps arround
got some transistors, i have resistors at home, i just dont have a heatsink and a board, thats about it :D
its not recommended but we are gonna do it!
I dont wanna be a smart ahh arround but the only thing he changed about the newest one that he increased the resistor values from .22 to .47 and he changed the location of the voltage driver, added an additional transistor for the pairs, and replaced the transistors with some newer ones. Thats about it.
They say that its unsafe and stuff, but if you do it right then it gonna go well! I am saying it at 1:20, i wasn't watched it yet, lets goo!
ye i see you also using .47 resistors for that.
oh nevermind :D you just changed the .22 resistor to .47, i do think that .22 was a little small for Figure 1.

Do not stick a 35/0/35 VAC transformer on this, you'll destroy it. That's +/-49VDC!

@@AstrosElectronicsLab i know its +-49. i mean i use +-47V in my sa7800 that have TO3PN transistors, which i suspect are not that good chinese transistors, (unfortunately i dont have real transistors for it.) i just had pmc transistors for it :/
At least it doesnt get that hot to fail.

I attempted to make this amp. It failed and now I can see why

At what bias current did you operate it?

DC offset is the true term for it, and if you look at the project link you will see this is being taken care of by an array of two 2k2 resistors, two 4001 diodes all in series connected to a BD136 transistor which self regulates DC offset.

Which I used 1N4004 diodes, not that it matters.

Bias current should be around the 30mA mark.
