How do you actually getting the words out there that you are launching, do you need big following?

you don't need a big following no, but it helps! I'm lucky to have a bunch of supportive people in my life so that helped a lot to get it off the ground!

Your photos on your camera most likely turned out dark because of the exposure and contrast. You can fix this by adjusting settings, and take a picture of a black and white paper before you start photographing. Also I was confused with the website. I couldn't view items without making an account.
Fab thank you so much for the tip, I’ll have a nosey into it and see if I can get the settings on the right mode! And I’ve closed the shop section on my website as we’ve just moved house! We’ve not got any wifi yet either so I’ve closed it just to deal with the move but it’ll be back open again soon 🧡

I’m half godaddy but my shop is on Shopify.
Look up IOSS also as if you sell to Europe you will need to add import tax onto the orders and collect it via a third party. It’s a bit of a nightmare so good luck. I’m still trying to suss this out myself. Also if you send to Germany you need to be Lucid registered to pay for packaging to be recycled. I went through a third party site and paid around £7 for the cardboard and plastic packaging. I found the info in the Etsy forums so give that a look. Get the hs tariff code from the UK gov site. If you are unsure what code is needed they give you an email address and details of what they need so they can look the code up for you. Only 1 item per email though as if more then it kind of confuses them lol. If you have already sussed this out then just ignore me 😂 but if you have sussed out the IOSS then please do a video explaining how you have done it in real persons language 😂 You are doing ever so well. Can’t wait to watch more. 😊
How did you get all that traffic to your website on launch day?
Luckily I have some amazing supportive friends and family members who did buy from me, but I posted constantly on socially media. I recycled all of my content. So if I took a video, I posted it on Instagram reels, Facebook reels, TikTok and UA-cam shorts. My plan was to of built up more of a following before the launch to help push more and more traffic to the site but it didn’t turn out that way so I’m still surprised I got orders! A lot of my friends and family constantly shared it too so that really helped! You’ve just got to keep pushing and pushing social media content 🥰

Lots and lots of research! Knowing what you want to sell, where you want to sell it etc is super important! I’ll be doing a video in the new year on how I started and any tips, tricks and advice I have ♥️

I leave a tiny 1cm hole and use a pair of surgical clamps to reach in a pull out the fabric. They work a dream and you can find them on Amazon. Just be a little careful with sheer and satin fabrics. Good luck with your business!
