Hello AskGameDev community!
This is Verinius, the developer of Lawmage Academy. First of all, I want to thank you for featuring my game on your channel. Back in 2018 when I started my game dev journey, I watched a lot of your videos on game design to help me design Lawmage Academy. I also saw the featured games and I thought to myself "Wow! Those games are amazing! I wish I could get featured on this channel one day." Well, it finally happened with this video. This really means a lot to me.
Thank you for mentioning the background of the developers as well. I was really happy to know how each game had an interesting story in its development. Everything you mentioned about me is correct and accurate. I'm a full-time human rights lawyer in the Philippines and I work on this project in my spare time. My undegrad was Philosophy so I took a lot of inspiration from my readings as well back in college. I hope that in the future when people play my game, they would start to think seriously about the questions raised in this game.

The solo developer games are my favorites because they show what can be done with some determination and free time

Then I guess you will like my game! I’m a solo developer who decided to create a mobile game based on a childhood game I used to play with my brother and cousins, in my backyard, back in 2001. It's been so fun adapting it to the mobile gameplay style while remembering the good old days. It’s in the final stage of development and I would love it if you could check the trailer on my channel!

Hey guys, awesome video! I am glad to see a prominent UA-cam channel providing a platform for indie devs.
I did have one suggestion for future videos. Do you think you can do the countdowns from 5th place and finish up on 1st? It helps build suspense and keeps the games that ranked lower from seeming "worse" or "less good" after following up the most recommended ones.
This video was a great watch, some cool games. :)
Maybe one day I'll submit my games to be picked. But I'm not really confident enough in anything I've made yet. lol

What engine you recommend for me to dont have to program with code line? Im thinking on construct3. I use smile game builder but i need to do 3d stuffs and i dont like much

I WILL go to part 50 if needed. And by the fact you didn’t use it this video, I might have to! Just using ‘we are ask gamedev’ is a little boring, don’t you think? I guess not, I won’t give up THAT easy though, I WILL GO FORTH.
This is great. We loved making those silly jokes at the start of the videos ... but the amount of hate they generated in the comments was honestly getting a bit much.
