- Joseph and his family are going to the beach for a summer vacation. But when they get there, Joseph notices Tony (Alan's brother) about to make a sand castle. And so he goes over and starts an argument with Tony, telling him that he is too old for sand castles and that they're only for younger children. How will Tony's family or the Read family react to Joseph's behavior?
Joseph is a big opinion basher. He should realize you can be a teen or an adult and still build sandcastles as long as you don’t let it interfere with your maturity and not let anyone tease or judge you. Age is only a number after all.

Wow, so Joseph’s apparently not too old to watch Cocomelon (which I can understand from his perspective), but Tony’s too old to build sandcastles? Why Jane and David of all people told Joseph off for telling others they’re too old for this they’re too old for that? I mean, they get angry and ground Joseph for liking preschool stuff and tell him he’s “too old” for it. When will Joseph call Jane and David out for their hypocrisy and call out his siblings for encouraging their parents' bad behavior. David even told him there’s no such things as being too young or too old. While theoretically, there’s no such thing being “too old” for everything, there IS such thing as being too young for everything.
And they grounded Joseph for the entire summer? Okay, I get if Joseph did something very bad such as a felony crime, but in this situation he just pestered Tony and Alan, he would’ve gotten grounded for only a week. It’s no wonder why Joseph is acting up, his parents are not only setting a bad example by thinking Age = Maturity, but they’re also being WAY too hard on him. IMO even if you are never too old to really build sandcastles, it will be feeling weird to do it when you're 18 years old, but it doesn't mean he or she should stop.
