@@WhitneyLaBrie I’ve just starting working with it. I’ve not had great success with the baking part …. Overdone or underdone. But it’s fun and I can only get better! Haha! Thanks again, Kathleen
I was not sure if I would enjoy making little foods, but with Tiny Whitney's help it was really fun! Did you like the video, did the directions feel clear?
@@WhitneyLaBrie Oh, yeah, the video was great! Your directions made total sense and were very clear! I wish I had a tiny bundt cake mold. I never thought of making a cake with one of the tiny molds that I do have,...(duh!). Great idea! I love making tiny foods, it's fun.
@@tinynina76 thank you for the feedback! I'm trying to be better about giving straight forward info, and easy to follow directions. trying to be a better teacher!
Brilliant technique,I can memory smell my grandmother’s lemon Bundt cake just by watching this. Sculpey is the best! I have created stupidly cool things with it!!! Never have used the air dry clay, might have to look into that, hmm… And tiny Whitney, she was quite a little superstar in this one, which,I can assure you, made an otherwise lousy day so much brighter! Thanks, multiple sized Whitney’s!😊🥰
I knew if I got into polymer clay it would open a while mole new world for me…and more things in my craft room…but here we are! What are some cool things you’ve made? Both Whitney’s thank you!
Oh,I’ve made a 12 inch tall Japanese anime Robot, that collapsed into shards, because I used hot glue to assemble it,so dumb of me. I made castings of precious old African amulets, used that same technique of brushing powdered pigment to age them, but my masterpiece was a little 9 inch white witch doll,a composition of cloth and stuffing, with sculpey head hands and feet, with ball bearing eyes,so mirror eyes, and twisted and dyed blue fiber dreadlock hair,it was amazing,if I do say so myself😂 Gave it away to my niece, glad I did,but kinda regret it,as she grew up to be a bit of a jerk. Oh well.
Oh she was,a color pallet of blue and turquoise, very elf-like. I wish I had pics of her! Also, gosh, please don’t mind me saying this, but send my compliments to tiny Whitney, regarding her little red shoes! They make my otherwise sad heart go all pitter-patter! 🥰
@@charlesperez9976 yeah it’s too bad you don’t have pics…I love love that sort of thing! Thank you for the shoe compliment, those are some of my favorite shoes I own…you will see them more in the future as I’m working on a wizard of oz room! 👠👠👠
Such a good video! I love the way you filmed and organized this tutorial. So talented. As for the clay, I have never made anything with polymer clay. I have only used air dry clay for repairs. The polymer looks better in my opinion. I wish my kitchen was as clean as Tiny Whitney's. 😍
Thank you! I really enjoyed this project and I agree about the polymer clay looking better, I feel like if I worked with the air dry more I could get it looking better…and the raspberries kept crumbling but it didn’t dawn on me till later to maybe add a little water to my fingers and that maybe would have helped…you learn as you go am I right! Thanks for your support of my channel 🥰💕 I wish my kitchen was as clean as tiny Whitney’s too! Lol
You are Adorable! I LOVE How You Open and introduce your Videos! I haven't used air dry clay since I was a kid! I need to re-visit it! Great video! I love the idea of using the copper pans as molds! Loved Raspberries! RE: Nodule great HACK
I really love the air dry clay, I use it a lot, you probably know that! lol Funny enough I've not used it for food so this was a fun experience for me. Yeah those copper molds, I've had those hanging in my mini kitchen for years...I was like..let's use these! Hope you have a great week Gretchen!
Hi Janet. I bought these little molds on eBay years ago. You can probably find them there. But I have since come across miniature molds for making miniature food and cakes on Etsy. Thank you for watching!
Looks deliciously realistic! Thanks, Kathleen
Aren't these fun. Have you worked with polymer clay before? I've only been using for a short time, but I'm obsessed now!
