My school in Texas wants to have a fall festival in October. We want to have a silent auction with donated items that I have made into baskets. The superintendent is telling me is against the law. Please help!
I realize this message is old. But was wondering if you found your answer? Hopefully you did and was able to do your fundraisers. I’m hoping to do similar ones.
@@Sarah-dx6tn Yes we were able to do silent auctions but not the raffle tickets. According to Texas law raffle tickets are considered gambling. We were very successful with the baskets. Let me know if you need more info
