The Callier Center honored The Moody Foundation with the 2023 Ruth and Ken Altshuler Callier Care Award. The award is given annually to an individual or group who has contributed significantly to the betterment of the community and to advancing the care of patients with communication disorders. The Moody Foundation was recognized for their esteemed history as advocates and supporters of children and adults facing communication disorders. As part of this legacy, the Moody Foundation has been instrumental in growing Callier’s pediatric programs including the Innovation Hub for Pediatric Care and advancing Alternative and Augmentative Communication for children without verbal speech.
