I think I get what they're saying, though. The IMF lends money to governments, who then in turn invest that money in their countries. The money is then recouped through taxation. This is a centralised way of doing it, that they're calling socialism (it isn't, strictly speaking). They're (I assume) in favour of a decentralised model of investment, with investment coming directly from the 'free market'.
The IMF are the biggest NeoLiberal organisation on the Planet when they tell you you've gone too far in screwing over your population with lowered services and income inequality you've really gone too far. Most Brexit voters aren't your typical Tory voter and the Tories have stayed stuck on the traditional Tory posh voter on policies when higher taxes (for government investment in infrastructure and reindustrialisation) and higher wages for workers would actually favor Brexit voters more. The Tory party is confused and it is hilarious to watch it ensue. Most Brexit voters who may agree with Tories on social issues will end up voting up Labour because the "true" Tories are too selfish to make the necessary sacrifices to keep their beloved coalition together. No one will vote to keep themselves hungry, lead by a clearly confused leader like Liz Truss, whose policies on the economy (YOU KNOW? EVERYONE'S BIGGEST HEADACHE RIGHT NOW!) were blatantly and obvious trash. Yapping on and on won't save the Tories. Sacrifices are the only thing that will work and Tories have NEVER been keen on sacrificing anything for their visions to ever work. Tories are pathetic!

It didn’t. The current government was elected on 43per cent of the vote. It’s called first past the post which is why the U.K. needs some form of PR. Under PR , it’s virtually impossible to ever see another Tory Government. Kier Starmer should take note.
