Hahaha well you know, I built her a pergola, renovated the fronts stairs, remodeled the roof in the lounge and stuff during the summer…she had no choice 🤣
Buying one next year after house move.i spent many hours researching & my conclusion was nyos was the only manufacturer doing things differently. Black silicone, black background & a clunky overflow box seem to be the standard.im also a big fan of their skimmers & reactors. Congrats on the tank!
One of the more beautifull tanks out there. Was about to buy it and then decided to build myself. But if I ever buy one again, i most definitely buy this one. Love the shadow overflow box
I don't know how you do it, mate. Keeping these difficult species like acropora and moorish idols, looking forward to seeing the orange spotted filefish in there. Also interesting to see a whole different style of reefkeeping and and aquariums, I always have a canopy on my tanks and I run a simple aqueon 120 gallon. Looking forward to seeing that scape
Wow, that's a gorgeous tank! Build quality looks superb, love external overflow setups. I went for clear silicone on my own (admittedly tiny) 200l custom tank, it definitely looks cleaner
Cade aquariums offer almost everything you requested, but with many different size options. And in my opinion, a far superior cabinate. This is still a nice aquarium, and since you didn't have to pay for it there's no arguments from me.
They are indeed nice. However, I’m not a huge fan of the funky ATO in the back. They are also made in China and I try to stick to stuff made in Europe/US both in and outside of reefing…as much as I can help it.
@viking_reefing Fair enough, I think most aquariums are made in China now, Red Sea, WaterBox, etc . I understand where you are coming from though. I've seen someone keep the ATO dry and hide MP40s backs in there for a slimline look.
@@darrensaquaticsworld indeed. Luckily there are still som brands that produce their tanks in Europe like Aquaforest, Nyos, Elos, Giesemann and a bunch of custom builders :)
Viking, another tank, your Mrs must really really really love you. Going to be a good build series.

Yeah, it seems you had the same thought process as I did when I decided on the Opus :)
Congrats, beautiful new tank.
Thank you! It’s gonna be fun :)

Sheer dumb luck ;)
They are in now and looking awesome.
That’s what’s so fun with this hobby: there are so many ways to do it :)
Congratulations on the new build.
Thanks! Looking forward to it hehe

Indeed mate. Hell, this isn’t much bigger and you can do a lot with that size :)
Congratulation for your new aquarium 😉👍
Thank you! 😃 looking forward to the journey.
Very sleek, for sure 👌🏻❤✌🏻
I think so too! Super happy with it :)
Hey silicon grease on all the orings ?
Always!

Har försökt att få tag på en sådan, vem är återförsäljare till Sverige? Vad kostar den storleken?
Runt 20k. De finns hos de jong så alla återförsäljare borde kunna ta hem till dig.
How tall are you? Trying to gauge height of the tank lol
Hahaha! I’m 190cm and I believe that’s about 6’3
Ok 😅lol I was like yay it sits pretty low lol but it’s going to reach me at my shoulders
@@enmanuelmaldonado6196 that’s why I built my big tank to be a total of 170cm haha
😂😅
👊
Thanks!
