That’s the second worst place to detect on the Gold Coast haha. Try runaway bay near the swimming hole and along the stretch of beach linked to it. You will definitely get a few bucks and maybe a ring 👍 I’m also a local hunter and UA-camr and can probably get us onto some rings and goodies 💍 🪙

That sinker is a star sinker use mainly for beach fishing helps keep the line in place buries in the sand
