The overhead becoming a mid isnt a nerf. It’s reactable and was never meant for mix anyway. I feel like it’s definitely a small buff bc now it can’t be up blocked
@@stephandunmoodie6235 Its -18 on block it doesn’t matter if you upblock it or not. If it did, it would have been better for it to be upblocked because you have to commit to it and his shuriken just became a low. You could also scare people into blocking low because of the shuriken. Having swift strife be overhead gives a gimmicky mind game which is super easy to convert off + it enforces your zoning game, however since its a mid theres no incentive to let go of down-block. Takedas amped shuriken are still mids instead of low so there is little way to take advantage of potential mix. Which further kills any semblance of the mind games I mentioned.
This patch did nothing for Takeda as far as I can tell except for nerf him. His armor move still isn’t really good, and it was made from an overhead to a mid which is actually kinda a nerf. His shuriken got made a low but you can’t really use it for anything because it doesn’t address the issues his strings have. (Which is what you would assume the shuriken being a low should benefit) Overall Takeda got nerfed which sucks because the Devs seem to love tip toeing around buffs.
Let me know what you think of the changes! And hit that Like button! Thank You!
