Yeah Giyu is definitely feeling survivors guilt not just for Sabito but also for his sister who hid him so he'd survive. Giyu lost a sister AND a brother and he felt completely useless in saving them.

Obanai's sword does not bend. It just seems like bending due to his speed and great technique of his own. So it's not the same with Mitsuri's sword.
