Can you explain what is REPRESENTATIVE LEDGER when you are free Bcz I've been asked question in interview.

@@mahendarreddych2519 Representative ledger is a ledger that is selected as primary / default in a ledger group. When a ledger group has more than one ledger, the one of these is to be selected as a representative ledger. System uses the posting period variant and FY variant of this representative ledger whenever a posting is done on this ledger group. So if the PPV of the representative ledger is open for the date of posting, the posting will be successful even if the posting period for other ledgers is not open. Hope this answers.
