    The only production chopper. Extremely light bike. Great video Stevy Faux. Stay safe out there and I’ll catch you on the next one.

      680 pounds is a light bike?!? Sorry.....not in my world, but to each his own.

    • @RedbeardsAdventures405
      @RedbeardsAdventures405 3 роки тому

      @@donaldames124 it’s about the weight distribution. You take a custom built chopper vs this, yes it is a light bike. I’m also used to riding an almost 900lb bike, so 600lb is light to me.

      @@RedbeardsAdventures405 I've also owned and riding several bikes that weighed in the 900 to 1000 lb range, and almost all of them handled better at slow speed than the Fury. If you want a bike with a low center of gravity, buy a airhead or oilhead BMW.

    Stevy! you are basically describing me. i have ridden like 5 different bikes. 2 i owned are were my main commuting rides. A Yamaha 700cc that was like a 90s model? and then a 97 Honda Magna. Then i haven't ridden for 8 years till last month i bought the Fury due a lot to your videos. so, funny video. I should hop on a bike that isn't so raked out and give a better opinion. BUT, this bike rides soooo well. like i don't notice the strange rake angle. its a piece of art and so ya, i say YES to your question at 2:30

      Paul Stout I’m glad to here you enjoy your bike. There really isn’t another factory bike like it. And thank you for the kind words and watching the videos.

    I sold an '08 HD Fatboy before I left California and moved back to the East Coast. Now I'm ready for another bike and after watching a couple of Honda Fury reviews it has become a top two favorite. Thanks for showing your bike and the ride was way too cool; love the modifications on your lights, too. I recently saw an older gentleman, looked to be in his late 70's, riding a blue and chrome model and he was cruising proudly on his beautiful Fury. I'm 73 and just want to enjoy my last few years of motorcycle riding (been a rider since my first bike, CB500, in Germany in 1984).

      Alexander Weaver that is way cool!!! Age is just a number. I hope you get one, no doubts on my mind that you will love it! Thank you so much for watching!

    Saddlebags are great for storage. But would completely destroy the ascetics of this beautiful machine.

    I just got a Fury a few months ago after being motorcycle-less for 2 years! It’s black with black pipes and I call it my Nightfury!! I love it and I’m really getting used to it! It’s sexy, it rides great, and it’s got decent giddy up. I can see myself being pretty happy with having this bike for a very long time. The only thing I really might change is if I could figure out how to put some ape hangers on it so I don’t have to lean forward so far to reach the handlebars

    • @StevyFaux
      @StevyFaux  4 роки тому

      bassfreakej I’m glad your happy with it. They are great bikes. All you need to do is put risers on the triple tree and you can put any bars on it you want. The tricky part is the clutch cable and throttle cables. Congratulations on your “NightFury”. Love that name!

    • @bassfreakej
      @bassfreakej 4 роки тому +1

      Stevy Faux yeah I’ll have to look into longer cables for the clutch and throttle and a longer brake line. I also used one of your videos when I replaced the headlight with an LED halo headlight!

    • @StevyFaux
      @StevyFaux  4 роки тому

      Did it work out for you with the headlight? Or did you do it different?

    These bikes are just sweet. Did a five year ownership review video on mine here and people have responded well. Bikers are just great, down to earth people that love life. It's awesome just being a tiny part of the huge family.

      Gator Unleashed I agree! The bikes are great but you meet the nicest people on a motorcycle.

    I ride my Fury almost every single day. My VTX1800 has taken a back seat because it is easier for my wife to keep up with the Fury when she is riding her Shadow 750. I just invested in a full up Moto-vlog rig. (GoPro Hero7, and all the goodies for good audio. Maybe some vids coming soon.

    Love fury videos, only downside is the struggle to resist walking off my job and cranking mine up and rolling out, thanks and keep up the good work

      I know that feeling. Mrs. Stevy doesn’t though, cause she works from home and can just walk right out to the garage and fire it up whenever she wants and.... but I’m not bitter about it at all.

    I remember the first time I ever saw a Fury. Waaaay back, before I ever rode, myself. It was outside of a Honda dealer, somebody's bike, just parked. And I was like, "OH MY GOD, THAT'S THE COOLEST MOTORCYCLE I'VE EVER SEEN, WHY AREN'T YOU RIDING ONE OF THOSE, GO BUY ONE RIGHT NOW!!!", hahahaha! They are still some of the best looking bikes on the road- to me!

    I respectfully disagree with your statement that the Fury would make a good first bike and/or a good purchase if you haven't been riding in a while. I've been riding for 57 years on the following brands: Ducati, Yamaha, BMW, Honda and Kawasaki. In my opinion, the Fury, which I presently own and ride, is the most challenging motorcycle I've ever ridden. Why? Because of its slow speed handling. It is an absolute bear to ride and maneuver at slow speeds. If you want to avoid dropping it, you better take Motorman's course and learn how to ride at slow speeds. Just an opinion? Yes.....based upon 57 years of riding experience.

    I bought my first bike in July it’s a 19 fury I love it. I’m kind of hard to fit on any bike because I’m 6’8 and 340lb. My fury has cobra pipes and power commander I put 3 inch risers on the bars and I have rode the wheels off it lol 4K miles in the first cpl months there very easy to ride and always get compliments on her. You guys take care and be safe

    Would this be a good bike for a taller rider? I'm 6'7" (skinny, all legs) and looking for a nice first bike.

    • @StevyFaux
      @StevyFaux  3 роки тому

      This would be a great first bike. And you can get extended controls to give you some more room.

      No haven’t had that problem. Might want to check your clutch adjustment.. or have it looked at. Might be something simple.

    Love my fury as a first bike.
    If I was gonna get a second bike, it would probably be a fury.
    3rd bike maybe a Ducati. I did like my Ducati’s.
    I am turn mine around on a dime!

    so i just bought a used 2010 fury ...when i hammer the throttle it shakes and vibrates like a mother...is normal for this bike??? not really the smooth ride i expected from a honda. thx

    • @StevyFaux
      @StevyFaux  4 роки тому

      lucas macaulay so there will be vibration cause of the shaft drive. And if you take the right cover off the side there is an adjustment for the rear shock.
