Berlin seems to ban cars from more and more roads every year. They are clearly paying attention to cities like Amsterdam and Oslo, but it will definitely take time to make it this relaxed.

Paris is also looking to implement a car free zone in its city center, hopefully more cities follow this

I wish Orlando would take a more transit oriented approach to growth and redevelopment :(

I very much enjoy the relaxing vibe from your videos.
Most of this kind of content on YT is super loud, quick and for me personally way to overwhelming. Keep doing your great work :)

Great video, Oslo seems very inspiring for car-centric cities. Ty for sharing!

Oslo was the first European city I ever visited, instantly fell in love. The air felt so clean and crisp compared to southern California, if it weren't for the weather it would be the most perfect city. Great videos!

Good video. Norway is very rich off the back of oil, so has significant funding for sustainable travel than comparable US cities. It also has road tolls and high car purchase taxes, which are more favourable towards electric vehicles - it has the highest EV take up in Europe and probably the world. Of course this emerged from decades long national and local policy decisions, which the strong US car lobby will argue against. As an neighbouring observer of Norway's success from Scotland, the US could learn a lot. A start could be reducing the excessive size of US pick-up trucks and SUVs, which is a problem spreading over to us as the European and Japenese manufacturers we buy vehicles from mimic the US style and marketing approach.

Actually, Norway doesnt spend the oil money in infrastructure. Everything gets put in the sovereign national wealth fund, and only a maximum of 3% of the added money each year can be spent on the national budget. Everything else is spent on investments outside Norway.

Looks clean and nice, but I don't think it is the type of cities younger people like, for partying and new industries to get jobs. Oslo seems to be very nice for retirement, family life, etc.
