At home, 13 days post op from Barbie butt surgery and watching your videos has been the only thing getting me through this! I hope to have kids in the future and I know your videos will comfort me when that time comes as well. I absolutely adore you and am so incredibly thankful for your posts 💛💛💛
@@m.suwolitch12 I hope your healing is going smoothly!! Not as painful as I imagined either. I think days 1-7 were the hardest. The more I move, the better I feel. Sitting is still hard without the cushion! Sending love and healing energy your way ❤❤
@ thank you so much! I’m glad you’re healing pretty well too! I am so glad Maggie shares so much with us. It’s so helpful for all of us going through this too! 💜
When you did the side profile, seeing your bump warmed my heart! As someone with an ostomy and wanting kids in the future, I’ve worried about what my belly would look like. Seeing yours made me feel better cuz I definitely see the bump!!
Watching this right after my dressing fell off... Panties in the trash and I am right out from the shower! Start following your channel at the hospital in September last year. Thanks for sharing your life. And best wishes!
I have so much respect for you for sharing this part of your life. I absolutely love your personality and sense of humor and your willingness to help others by being so candid online. IBD aside, I’m loving your pregnancy content as a hopeful soon to be mom myself. Wishing you nothing but the best 🥹🩷🩵 thank you so much
I followed a lady a couple of years ago that became pregnant with a stoma. She spoke with her stoma nurse and over time ended up trying different flanges and bags as her stoma stretched and changed shape. So good luck. Maybe it's worth collecting some samples to try xx
I know it's not funny, but I was laughing anyway! You poor thing. 🙋♀️Diverticulitis warrior and ostomy reversal survivor. I've been watching you for a while now. Thank you for your honesty. Congrats on the baby!
That's wonderful it's just so exciting and I'm so happy for anyone who has achieved a pregnancy with any kind of stoma ,to deal with both is just wonderful 😊 💖
With both my pregnancies I found that opening a window, turn fan on low, that cool air really helped with any odor and the gag reflex calmed down a bit. Hot chocolate at night worked wonders. I can picture myself sitting up in bed watching vapid tv to take my mind off barfing really helped.
Oh my goodness, I’ve been through 2 pregnancies one I was VERY sick (ended up on medication just so I could get out of bed!) and I feel for you as if pregnancy isn’t hard enough
My neighbor scolded me for having morning sickness. I had it morning, noon and night. She said the gagging and barfing was all mental. I needed to get out of the house, she said. How could I when I was so barffy. But off we went for a walk around the block. OOOPS....there I go leaving a trail of barf all around the block. She stopped harassing me after that. 🙂
Maggy: You are brave. It’s no easy for the situation you are going through but your very informative, humorous and well prepared and well presented videos that you are showing us about something that I didn’t know in detail. And now that you are pregnant we are sharing the joy with you. Congratulations!
Bless your heart!! I remember the things that made me gag during my first trimester and I had nothing close to what you have to deal with. You are SO strong!
Started following you cause my daughter had an ectopic pregnancy , but was resolved with methotrexate. After one year and half still trying to get pregnant again. You are so cute and funny, what a life adventure. Love you, wish you all the very best and thank you for sharing.
My DIL is almost due. She has had a difficult pregnancy and both parents are carriers of Cystic Fibrosis and they did not know. Life May get even more challenging.. I like watching your videos because you inspire people in so many ways when life gets hard. I’m so glad you are having a baby because I know you and your husband will nurture a little soul who will continue your positivity through the universe. And we all need more of that.
Definitely a baby bump!🥰 As petite as you are, I'm pretty sure it's normal to look pregnant before those of us who are on the larger size. With both my boys, I just looked fat until late into the 3rd trimester. I think I was literally in my 8th month before people realized that I was pregnant.
At home just had today monday November the 11 knee surgery placement watching your show. Can't wait to meet the baby ❤❤❤❤❤❤Greetings from Baltimore Maryland USA 🇺🇸
Congratulations again ❤ I hope you're taking prenatal vitamins. With my one, my hair definitely was affected right around 3.5-4 months along. The doctor said think of it like this, baby is growing and need vitamins and nutrients like mad for growing up. It's the same in utero, the baby is going to start growing fast, so you need more vitamins etc then you can get with your meal alone. Hence why we start losing hair, skin getting dry and itchy, etc. We need more fluids, more vitamins and minerals, more food to eat. As the saying goes, you're eating for two now. As an illeosotomy, you already need more, so now it's like triple. Please ask your ob-gyn, ostomy specialist, dietician. ❤
Lovely little tum. It’s great you and Zack are so excited. I don’t have your condition but found your videos and find them so interesting.Your so natural it will help others. Good luck with everything, x
You have the cutest little belly coming in!! Big props to you for dealing with bag changes and all that while pregnant!! you’re an absolute champ!❤❤ 🥰🥰
I knew you were having nausea but hadn't thought about how that would affect your bag changes. Understandable that the smell would get to you. I hope at this point in time your nausea has gone away. 💜🙏
It's almost over Maggie~ at least generally speaking, I should add. Wow, do I ever hear you on the sensitivity to smells thing, & I'm not even pregnant! I've always had a very, very keen sense of smell & it's truly aggravating at times. My poor husband is such a good sport about it, even with much of the extra work being his responsibility. Cannot deal w/even the very faint body odors, & sweaty sheets are no bueno, not happening. My husband has IBS & deals w/a bit of bowel leaking almost daily. He's constantly changing his drawers, showering, etc in order to keep things "fresh & clean, clean". I'm thinking we may want to look into some kind of underwear liners, so at least that way he would have a disposable layer to work with. Open, comfortable communication in a marriage is a wonderful thing. I like to remind him that we married each other and ALL our 2000 parts=) SO thrilled for your growing family~ how exciting! Hoping you're blessed w/a peaceful, marvelous pregnancy as the nausea subsides. Best part of that is usually once it's over, that's it, typically anyhow.Sammy in AZ
Fantastic your doing this hun. So many women are going to really appreciate this, even feeling sick. P.s drainable bags are sooo easy and you can even use add on which sorta screws on and drains into another bag which is also drainable, smell stays further from your nose😊😊 ps love ya❤❤❤❤
What kind of bag are you using? How do you get an add on bag? I would be so interested to hear more. My son is a quadriplegic, so he is in bed a lot. I have to get up in the middle of the night and empty it.
You're literally my favorite person to watch right now since we are going through pregnancy together ❤😍 I feel you about the smells, its terrible 🙄 We will get through this! But sometimes I wish time went faster 😂
Aw you poor thing with the gagging! I’m so grateful and intrigued to go on this journey with you! I don’t have a stoma but I’m an RN and a mom, so I relate on all the parts separately😂 I also recommend your channel to everyone at work. ❤ I love your videos!
Sweetie, you need to be positive, I know the trauma of losing a baby, but I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy, who is now a handsome amazing young man. This baby is going to be in your arms soon, God gave this miracle to you. Love and Blessings to you and baby☮️🙏🏼✝️🕊️🍼🧸💙🎀❣️❣️❣️❣️
I don’t know if you already know this or if someone has already mentioned it but Hannah Witton documented all of her pregnancy with a stoma on her UA-cam if you or anyone else wants to check her out. ❤
I know it doesn't seem like it now but it will get better i had nausea for 4 months and i thought it would never go away but i woke up one day and it was gone so i feel for you but i know when you meet that beautiful baby you won't even give it another thought and you will say i would do it all over again I am so happy for yall you two are going to be the best parents to that beautiful baby sending love and prayers for you and your family just keep smiling like always thank you for sharing love yall ❤
You have a definitive baby bump going. I can see Leroy is getting bigger! I think it would be helpful to try a drainable pouch for pregnancy. You could have a water pitcher ready and put water in the drain hole to rinse when you empty.
If you can tolerate vicks vapor rub place some on the inside of your nostrils, it will block the smell if that's what is bothering you. I use it in my profession to block out nasty smalls
Oh that gagging is funny. I got that way when feeding the dogs when i was pregnant. For whatever reason the smell of dog food, even the sight of it had me gagging and even puking!!!! Dog food and onion dip!!😂😂
When you did the gagging thing talking about hubby and smells, I laughed. Sorry. I Had a flashback to my first preg. I couldn't take the smell of ANYTHING (pizza, hairspray, husband smell, nada, lol). I used to be talking to my sister and would just gag reflex right in front of her - she would run away in embarrassment, LOL!
You are doing so good, lovey. Just take one day at a time. And soon that nausea should start to fade out. Keep some Vicks vapor rub handy and you can put some under your nose when you are near smells that will trigger you, aka your husband. lol The smell of alcohol is also known to quell nausea, so get some little alcohol swaps.. I know you said this video was from Oct 17th; now my curiosity is piqued as to how you are doing now. Just remember that all this will be behind you and it will all be worth it when you have that precious baby in your arms. 🙏 for you & the wee baby.
It's probably not the same, but my doctor said that upping the protein in the diet is advised when shedding too much. It works as hair needs more protein to regenerate. Maybe the baby is taking a lot out of you at the moment. Your intake is vital, so take care of yourself Maggie.

My Barbie butt surgery was 5 days ago. I’m not as much pain as I thought, but my butt is hurting more each day. 😮💨
@@m.suwolitch12 I hope your healing is going smoothly!! Not as painful as I imagined either. I think days 1-7 were the hardest. The more I move, the better I feel. Sitting is still hard without the cushion! Sending love and healing energy your way ❤❤
She’s an inspiration and educates us when no one else does. I’m v grateful. 2y since my surgery. It does get easier!
@ thank you so much! I’m glad you’re healing pretty well too! I am so glad Maggie shares so much with us. It’s so helpful for all of us going through this too! 💜
@ she really is! I’m so glad I found her and she does the work she does for us. There’s not many like her at all!
You are gonna help so many people with these videos of finding out how to maneuver an ostomy in pregnancy! So happy for you
I know nausea is NOT fun. But I just could not stop laughing at you gagging while you were talking about Zach 😂😂😂
I was about to say that! Lol 😂 I love sweet Maggie ❤
That little bump is precious. So so happy for you, feel better.
Darlin, you definitely are getting a baby bump, it’s adorable 🥰

Aww little baby bump 💕
Thank you for saying that I was going to say it and I didn’t know how to put it. It’s been 22 years since my child was born.
That's wonderful it's just so exciting and I'm so happy for anyone who has achieved a pregnancy with any kind of stoma ,to deal with both is just wonderful 😊 💖
I think that a bag that you can drain might help with the nausea. You are doing amazing through this!!! So excited for you!!!!
With both my pregnancies I found that opening a window, turn fan on low, that cool air really helped with any odor and the gag reflex calmed down a bit. Hot chocolate at night worked wonders. I can picture myself sitting up in bed watching vapid tv to take my mind off barfing really helped.
