Blessing was based on a scene in Amadeus where Mozart composes the Requiem which is where the opening melody comes from. So Hyang and her team wanted to make this piece describe the contrast of evil to good and darkness to light and this transition becomes a blessing. So there is always hope. This was made in Los Angeles and The crew worked very hard and needed so time off so they went to the Grand Canyon at daybreak and watched as the canyons and valleys went from darkness to light in essence, confirming the premise of the song/video. So Hyang discusses this in one of her recent interviews.
