I have a Teton 662L and originally bought it for a "light power" BFS rod. It was kind of a disappointment so it sat in my closet for months until I decided to try it out as a UL bass rod. Magic!!! This is where this rod comes to life! I fish a lot of micro TRDs, 2" Keitechs, and Neko rigged worms. It has very good sensitivity to feel the bottom and feel small "pick ups", plus it can load up a micro TRD with a .87g nail weight with no problem. Just recently landed a 4.5# large mouth at a local pond and was able to pull her through the grass and salad. If you want / need a 2 piece rod then I highly suggest the Teton. Thanks for posting, keep them coming!!! 🤙
Thanks for showing nice rod bend. I just got the 632UL, have not fished with it yet, but just practice casting in the yard. The rod is very well put together for the price, its super light and handle grip is comfortable (I got the one with the full cork grip and not the split grip). Good backbone for an UL rod but will have to be careful not overloading it, only rated to 4 lb line. I wish we could find more rods like these in the tackle stores.
You are welcome! Bait finesse empire carries probably the best selection of bait finesse rods in the states.. But he's currently online only. But maybe In the future... A store might appear in Arizona!
Right? I have no idea what I was thinking. Maybe cuz Tsurinoya been so good to me with an amazing price point. But never too late! Especially that I am so familiar with the Dragon, I can definitely give a nice comparison whenever I fully explored this rod!
Well if you get another Teton, the super ultralight is a great little rod, I have caught lots of big fish with mine and it works wonderfully. I do use 6lb test mono crappier maxx hi vis camo, has a 2.5” section that’s clear I tie too so I don’t need to tie a leader line. Good luck fishing
I just got one of the Teton rods and when putting it together I noticed that when I put it together there is a gap like what you showed. Is that how it is supposed to be? Thank you😁
@dirtz2122 yes... Don't force it in! Spigot ferrule insert style is basically a solid graphite insert between the two pieces, allowing better sensitivity for two piece rods than the older style. Enjoy
Got hung up in hydrilla too. Thought I lost it until it moved out. Had to release twice cause the first time she stayed very shallow for the safe release. Looked right at me too, forcing me to grab her and throw her a bit deeper so she can get back to her nest.
I left mine at home! Gotta improvise! I could buy expensive paddles too as I have in the past. But when it's at home... Doesn't matter what the price u paid ya?
Perhaps! When I first saw it.. It was over 100 plus shipping. Thus I used the Tsurinoya Dragon over this for the longest time! But now I have this... I dunno if I could go back lol
So let's take a step back. Liking yellow perch more than pickerel doesn't mean i dislike pickerels. In fact, I love catching and fighting pickerels. I have videos of me catching them for fun. but when you are being bitten off left and right because the lake you fish is primarily pickerels (native here in NJ), it burns a hole in your wallet. Thx for watching

Glad you are finding use on the Rod. Fish on!

I have this rod but I love the kuying Teton SUL 5’2” rod. Caught a 5lb bass on it and a 10lb catfish too with 6lb mono line.
Dang! That's amazing! I gotta take it to the salt soon!
Teton is the Legend!
sure is! i am loving it
Nice to see you out fishing with new gear snd having fun. Be blessed. My friend.
Thanks 👍definitely fun rod!
Cool looking rod!! Really like the way the grips look!
It's some fancy cork! Feels pretty good too with the texture. Grippy!
Surprised you have not review this rod before. I liked how you compared it will the dragon.

Please do a review on the 5’2” super ultra light 2 piece kuying Teton rod. Ausome trout bfs rod. I have one and love bass fishing with it.
Not gonna lie. That last Teton got me itching for my next kuying rod. But I may opt for something different.
I need a new travel rod for icast!

@ thank you so much I was worried for a bit. Love your videos, keep up the great work man.👍
Caught my new pb yesterday. 4.27 lbs.
Congratulations! What's the details on that catch? Swimbait?
Shakey head with trick worm.

Oh wow. Bedding bass probably lost some weight! Could be a 5 :p
How would you compare this rod to the Jenko Double Down Rod for Crappie fishing?
@@JoelTuck-t5e double down is a very heavy rod. Over powering. This is more fun and feels sensitive. Also less fatigue.
@@rawrfishing Thanks Jimmy watch you a lot now my man !
Awesome, let me know if u got more questions!
@@rawrfishing I will Jimmy and thank you so very much. I am very grateful to you.
What is the best reel for throwing micro lure with little backlash?
Ark Gravity bfs reel
I caught a 25 lb channel cat fishing a Berkley gilly a couple years ago with that rod...it was ridiculous
Oh wow that's awesome
Try the spinning been wanting to pair with a Vanford
I'm sure it's just as good... But I don't do spinning reels like that.
Is the tip section solid or tubular?
It's hollow tip! Cheers
All that high end kayak and tackle and you use a crutch for a paddle!😳
I left mine at home! Gotta improvise! I could buy expensive paddles too as I have in the past. But when it's at home... Doesn't matter what the price u paid ya?
@@rawrfishing Did you pick it out of someone's garbage ?I have noticed there is the sound of a garbage disposal truck in the background
It was given to me by my friend who let me launch via the back yard!
I think when i bought this rod a few years ago it was around $50.
Perhaps! When I first saw it.. It was over 100 plus shipping. Thus I used the Tsurinoya Dragon over this for the longest time! But now I have this... I dunno if I could go back lol
Teton ttc662l is a fantastic Hardlure Rod !
Woudn’t recommend it for Jigging tho.
I definitely won't use weedless jigs with thick wire hooks. Single open hooks with appropriate hook sizes!
@@rawrfishing i only use Cranks and Minnows with it. Fishing for Asp and Chub . Hungary/Europe
Gotcha! Sounds fun
Good vid but no idea why you would rather catch a perch the a pickerel. Lol. Pickerel are a game fish

@@rawrfishing True lol, we have them in NY too. They hit pretty much the same lures as bass
Lately I have been using more expensive lures, so it can get painful lol...
