I cannot fault the security guard, he was nothing but polite and helpful. I reckon you might have brightened up his day. Great interaction, DJ, and great video of course.
I think we are starting to see the beginning of the end of these kind of videos. More and more people are learning how to deal with it & less and less times the police turn up. Youll still get the odd one, but it was fun while it lasted
Rare that security is this nice, even giving all kinds of information. From what I can tell this port is used by a Dutch company. I have a feeling they go to Amsterdam which has a large harbor for wood.
To be honest, even though bless him he was spouting some awful rubbish at the beginning. He was a very nice and pleasant chap. If I was DJ, I'd have pursued him a little further on who their competitors were and how he could get in touch with them when he had finished the video. Cos he had something that they might be interested in ! I really think that its down to where they are from as to how friendly they are. Once you start going up North the people are simply so much nicer and have better people skills than down south where they all smell.
Nice bloke, nothing worth hiding there. I think deep down he was happy to find someone interested in what goes on there, and it was interesting. Thanks Mr Security man, and back to work on his own accord. 👍
DJ makes the exact point that needs making when he asks him to take the drone down - if the competitors wanted to see behind the scenes, they could just take up their own drone!
Very interesting DJ i really enjoyed this video. Although the guy nicely asked you not to film he was ok in the end he didn't get nasty or anything and even had a chat and gave you information. Well done guy thats the best way to be. Politely ask and remain professional and helpful xx

@DJAUDITS haha followed by a walk of shame I hope!? I think that guy was Craig the security manager. He's ex police and he's a good guy so he hopefully knew the laws.
It's awesome seeing the loading system. The only downfall from it I see is it locks other vessels inside/outside until it's loaded and sailed. Apart from that, I like it.
I've been in many Ports in the UK...some are brilliant easy to manoeuvre with decent security, then you go and find the delivery or collection point...it's a bit of a challenge occasionally and where you're allowed to park and have a break. It's a small port but seems to be well secured. Great footage DJ, you need to ask a truck driver to hide you in his cab and film a trip round by the driver or get a class 1 and enjoy trucking and tramping.
You make a good point. One which i raised yesterday with Liverpool Port Police. So many drivers recognise me nowdays, I could be a passenger and be a human dashcam as they drive around. They didn't like it at all and followed me around the area all day. 🤣🤣👊

If it moves about at sea it can cause the ship to take on water possibly sinking ?
