Don’t be gay . It’s just real music and what vocalist do. The shit kids listen to now is trash. Mostly hyped off beats. But you ha e good taste, check out Tyler Landry’s piano covers on Kingdom Heart covers, it’s amazing too
This is definitely the best choral a cappella version of this song I've come across on here. And shout-out to the singer who nailed the high notes at 2:42! :O
Yes, this was done expertly, however, I did miss the alto echo on the drop. She totally nailed the high notes, but there is supposed to be an alto echo that I wish they had included.
I'm usually listening to Hard-Rock / Metal but holy shit this cover gave me goosebumps all over my body for 4 mins straight. Those dynamics and the Bass/Tenor Harmonies. You guys did an outstanding job there.
This is honestly the best one ive come across. I want my choir to this so i suggested it to my instructor. I hope he allows us to do it. This is amazing!!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Let me know if your instructor needs to get in touch with me about the arrangement, always happy to see how the same piece of music can be interpreted by other groups :)
@@brianhayes7552 Dear Brian, I am a conductor from Hamburg, Germany, and I would be glad to rehearse your beautiful arrangement with my choir. How can we get in touch?
@@davidhoffmann5922 Apologies for the delayed reply David, I don't check here often! I would be happy to send you the arrangement. Is there an email I can reach you at?
send ubc a cappella message via their facebook page! the arrangement was made by one of the members (Brian Hayes - 4th from the right in the front row!). So they'll have to ask with him before they can share it with you :)
She didn't use autotune she individually recorded each tone in that song and that's why it sounds much much better than autotune because she put so much work into each note
That high note made me feel things I have never felt before. Oh my God.

Anyone watching that is in that "3AM on UA-cam" mood.

take a look at this one! It will give you goosebumps!!
@@tubehab We actually had the echo in our sheet music, however we thought it sounded cleaner without it for our recording.
Elliceinwonderland I honestly don’t think that choir got the dissonance right. I think this is the best hide and seek choral performance there is
FOUND: an a capella version of this song that satisfies me. Also this group has fantastic control of the dynamics, damn.

This is the best a cappella performance I have ever heard of this song, by far.

take a look at this one!
A new one dropped this week! The Gaia Music Collective invited strangers to sing for Imogen Heap. It is going viral now.
I've recently become obsessed with this song, and this is easily the best rendition I've heard.
This was FANTASTIC!! You could see how much they were into the music just by watching their body language. So good!!!
omg gosh what the hell is this song this made me literally shiver and have goose bumps all over my body. I feel like this has touched my soul wow.
This kind of beauty is why I strive to always get better as a musician. This is some kind of nirvana. Thank you. Thank you so much for this.
Thanks rezo
i hope imogen has seen this!! gorgeous arrangement -- everything from the fleshed out harmonies to the dynamics... goosebumps

Those high notes were absolutely amazing! And the overall performance aswell.
Respect Guys n Girls, this is a very hard song but I think you mastered it, loved everything about it. Loved to see the body language as well
This is the best cover of this I've ever heard, I actually cried.
Precise blend, amazing voice, and more! This should be played LIVE on TV! Great job!
that guy is really feeling it. same dude
I'm in love with the girl who did the ending solo.
Alto Squad killed that blend at the end
Incredible! A lovely version, made me want to join a choir again!
Omg this is so beautiful!!

I think I recognise one of the members from a math conference. I spent a few seconds in odd partial recognition. Good job!
Her songs are perfect for choirs
Well done! I would love to see a group like this do it unannounced in a public venue and then capture the reactions of others.
That was amazing
Jemand von Rezo hier?😅

BRAVO 💐
SO GOOD
Really good
That was incredible!
I have to agree with Heather Clancey. This song is fascinating musically.

Achmad Ali Saifuddin this might be a half step above Imogen Heap's version
Bravo.
Perfeito!!
Well done :)

Sounds like when they got to 2:55 they got excited and sped up the tempo. That might just be me though?
2:56 U What U say !
😍😍😍😍😍
A moving powerful performance. ShiaLabeoufclapping.gif

this is good, you guys need a conductor tho
HIGH NOTE
Dis choir needs more emotional Filipinos 😶
This is what the song should have sounded like all along. Screw that autotuned crap that Imogen Heap thinks is good enough.
She didn't use autotune she individually recorded each tone in that song and that's why it sounds much much better than autotune because she put so much work into each note
she used a vocoder, that's maybe the reason why it giving you the "autotune" effect but the first replier is right.
Be quiet and don’t ever disrespect her you mutt
Overacting ruins it. Harmonies are out of tune. meeeh.
Are ur ears alright
beautiful
