A lot of people are confused with this process. Your player is going to look different than mine depending on your equipment and perks. You NEED to have your 2 Way Ballplayer in the DH position AND the Rotation/Bullpen at the same time. When this happens, your player will get TWICE the attributes for Equipment boosts (+7 contact bat turns into +14) and perks. If you have bad equipment and perks these boosts will be minimal. All that’s happening is your player is getting twice the boosts, you’re not going to just have the same attributes as me unless you get better equipment! Also, anytime you change equipment and perks, for it to update in your roster, you have to take your ballplayer out of the lineup and then put him back in. Then everything will update. Once you do all this, go to a play vs CPU game to see updated attributes, it will not show if you try to check the attributes at your main lineup screen. It only updates in game or at the pre game lineup once you try to get into a game.
Yeah I figured it out. I didn’t have my player in the Rotation at the same time. I bought the same perks but I’m not as leveled up as he was so my attributes are a little lower but the it definitely works though
I can't see my hitting stats when im in the lineup. in RTTS it says im a SP so when I go to check my stats it only shows the pitching stats, but I am a 2-way player. I even told my manager that I would only like to pitch occasionally and focus on batting. Not sure why it's keeping me as SP?

You can use him at a position spot. When you’re in the line up screen loading into the game just swap your DH position and whatever position you want him to play BAM

You said it wouldn’t be worth grinding out, but wouldn’t it be? If they patch this and you haven’t grinded out, your player will be awful. If he’s diamond already, a patch won’t affect him
once I tried with putting him in the sp position also. I then deleted the player and did a new one and only assigned the dh. I've now tried three times and still zero improvement.
Equip equipment and perks to your ballplayer. Then take out your ballplayer from your lineup. Then put him back in (this is just for the game to refresh your ballplayers changes.) Make sure he’s also in your bullpen or rotation. Then load into a play vs CPU game and check his attributes in game. If that still doesn’t work reply back
Use perks that boost power or contact+ clutch. Also equipment that boosts clutch. If you want it even higher, play RTTS with your guy on beginner and power swing, every HR will boost clutch+power
Even if it only worked for another week it’d be worth it, it takes 5 min to do. Definitely not worth grinding for the extra attributes but adding equipment and perks takes 30 seconds

my player is at 113 contact and 118 power and it’s taking me FOREVER to level up now and im hitting like 5 homeruns a game was yours like this too?

Its april 22,2023 and this still works I didn’t have max stats because of equipment but i had 100 power and 88 contact without playing 1 game

My RTTS player was deleted and it was regular grinding process
Man I think they patched this…. I made some upgrades today and tried to put both in (as DH and SP) but it will only let me chose 1 DH or SP.
