People who say the Derby isn’t that much more maneuverable than the 120, 10:00 I’ve used both extensively, at close and long range, and for extreme range with unlikely hit chance, the 120 is better, but at the longest ranges you should be using them at 12~15mi (20~25ish km), the Derby is actually better, because it has a better booster, it has more energy than the 120. And in my experience, the Derby completely smokes the 120 at anything within 6~8mi (10~14ish km), it’s much, much better at off bore shots, especially high off bore, and as I said, it has a better booster, so it has more energy than the 120 at these ranges. And at extreme close ranges 1~2mi (2~4.5ish km), for me, the Derby has earned the nickname MICA Jr. the shots I’ve hit with it are absurd, and it’s definitely my favorite Fox 3. Most well rounded, good range, good acceleration, relatively low drag, and fantastic maneuverability. I have yet to use the 77, but from what I’ve seen, I’d rate the Derby above it in maneuverability, because it has much more energy coming out if a turn, especially when the boosters burned out, the 77 just has too much drag for my liking. Ik it’s controversial, but I think the Derby is #1 Fox 3, I’ve been taking majority Derbys on this jet, and I’ve been playing almost no America just because I wanna use the Derby
@@potato_sniffer the Darter is a whole 2kg heavier, but other than that they’re the same. I believe the Darter was an export Derby, just like the RVV somethin somethin is an export R77
Just a tip for you guys, while you're grinding a jet use that time to stock grind the jet before it since you get 10% more rp for efficient research, you get the bonuses once you get a whole rank done, and you get to spade more of your jets.
@@RockSeller01 real. I’ve only been taking 1 amraam, to lob off at the start, and 1 9M, which are hilariously effective right now. Then 4 Derbys and that is my preferred loadout. Sometimes I’ll drop the 9M though and bring 5 Derbys and the 1 120
