I hope you have your own company.... because you are good!!!!!!!! I have learnt sooooooo much from watching your videos.....I am starting my own cake baking business....The Lord bless you!!!!
Wow. Beautiful as always. Ive learnt so much from your tutorials mary. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ I miss your twice a week tutorials.
Thank you so much Mary. I always find that flower paste goes so brittle that when I try and place pre-made bows or flowers on a cake they don’t fit in exactly where I want. So this might be the answer to my prayers. Can I just say I love how u just get on with the instructions…. Not waffling on like other you tubers do!!!!
I have a question, will this bow get hard? Not sure if you mention it on the video. Will it get hard like fondant with Tylose, some times I like bows to stand on their own on top of a cake like a cake topper. By the way I love this classy cake😘🥰😍❤️ Thank you for all your videos, tips and teaching, your videos are my mental therapy🙏
Stunning cake ❤.. Did you only make one batch of your flower paste for the bows as the mixture looked very little while you were mixing it? Also does it set up as quickly as gum paste?
I would do 2 to make sure for a bow this size. It remains flexible for a few hours to overnight. Longer then gum paste. It kind of depends on the environment. On a more humid place, it stays flexible longer. Eventually it does dry hard.
No:( Unfortunately, it will go bad quicker the store bought. I don't know why, but it has happened to me. I would make a smaller batch, and it honestly is super quick to make.
@CancelaGarcia I store it is a zip lock bag, but it really only remains flexible for about 2 days. I would make as much as you need, when you need it for best results.
Looks so elegant and thanks Mare as always for being gracious and hope your healths good. One question does it dry firm or firm enough do tell thanks et Godspeed. @sophisticakesbyMary

Hi! I'm wondering how long that flour paste will last? Like can i make a batch to just have when I'm ready so i always have it on hand? Thanks!

Is corn flower found in grocery store?
Yes it is. “Corn starch” is usually in a box or canister
