4 years later, still simple and usefull. I did too but on a larger scale, 8mm metalic mesh, using 2 wheelbarrows as recipients. For reclaim, garden soil, gravel. When I need to sift sand I just staple over a finer mesh. Kids are excited. Thank you.
OBVIOUSLY.....THOSE OF US WATCHING THIS 🤔...have been sitting on a bucket for fkn hours using a #30- 40 or whatever hand sifter‼️ and figured..."GOD. there's gottA be a better way than THIS ‼️⚡...I think this is AWESOME💡💡💡it'll save me 2/3 of my time !!!
@@mikesrestoration I'm about to start sand blasting soon .. river sands is abundant here for free . On a very tight budget . Is that a good substrate ? Will it get the job done ? Only sand blasting lite gauge steel chairs and turning them into boat seats .
@@joeblowjohnny2297 Yes, free sand is always the best. There will be aot more bad stuff come out, but its free so it doesn't matter. also, the sifting works best if the sand is dry. wet does work at all.
The mesh is just a normal roll of window screen material. I have been using it since the 80's, and it just seems to be a good mesh size. Your right about the dust. I do place a widow fan to blow the dust away, most of the time. If placed properly, it will blow away the smallest material too, that you wouldn't want to re-use.
@@mikesrestoration I have seen that option used but there is so much dust flying around. Need to try and collect the dust and dispose of it without it being airborne

Hi new subscriber hear ❤️
Nice sieve
Fantastico
Wow🥰🥰
What size mesh are you using
I'm using normal window screen wire . Its holes measure .042 X .060. Its should be square, but the holes are slightly rectangular.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What type of screen are you using ? Mosquito Windows type netting ?
HI, I just use a roll of normal window screen material, and it seems to be the right mesh. Thanks,

Easy once you build the crazy triangular trigonometry carry the seven divide by Pi super ultra sifting machine.
ok what about now sifting the dust out of the sand
When I'm sifting sand that has been used before, I put a fan blowing across the bucket top, and alot of the dust blows away. Thanks,
