Love your video! Good job. Could you tell me how big is the meeple in this game? Jus out of curious because it looks very small compare to standard size meeple in Carcassonne
Warning for the rest of the world. Pandasauras does NOT ship international anymore (won't even do freaking Canada!) so you can't get the solo cards. US residents can still get it as of early 2023. A shame you had already setup the game, even if I knew what was on those solo cards I could make do with making my own or something. I'll try to see if some people have unboxing videos.
@@nirszi Thankfully I noticed before I purchased the game. The store owner actually pointed it out to me. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play it. Thanks for the heads-up!
😲 Wow, I had no idea. That is insane. Sorry about that. I'll be sure to check on that in the future. I really hope this doesn't become a trend with KS. Thanks for pointing this out.
To be honest, this game is very intimidating I as a huge dinosaur enthusiast can pull myself together to like it but can‘t get my friends to play it, most of them don‘t even want to learn the game fully They say, that the gameplay doesn‘t feel natural.
I can totally understand that. Most heavier games feel intimidating and unnatural at first, especially with less experienced gamers. Not everyone enjoys riding the learning curve and would rather a game feel more comfortable right out of the gate. My wife is like that. She loves Dune Imperium because it immediately made sense but hated At the Gates of Loyang (one of my favs) because it feels so awkward and esoteric. It can be hard to predict what will work with each person. Thanks so much for watching!
I focussed mainly on the dinosaurs, buying paddocks and creating lots of them and having a good infrastructure with amanity tiles etc. My friends did not, they just had the buildings and maybe one paddock and they had more points at the end of the game It could be, that we played it wrong and I got scammed that way but I am sure we did everything by the rules I also don‘t like multi component play area games I prefer it much more if a game has ONE gameboard it is much easier to handle if you have to shift everything because the private islands are getting out of hand
@@TheGUNdalf Interesting. I remember feeling like dinosaurs were really hard to make and I should try to create a balanced park. But I've done awfully in all my plays, so I definitely haven't figured out the recipe to the secret sauce with this one. I really want to get it to the table again to explore it more. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
My new favourite thing in the world since I discovered your channel is finding out you have created a playthrough of a game I'm interested in buying!
Thanks for featuring the solo mode!
Hey, thanks for watching! Love the game.
@Pandasaurusgames Why solo mode is not available in retail in Europe? Why isn't it a module of base box but exclusive add on?
I'm in love with that amazing game, great explanation and greate background music. Definitely thumbs up
Thanks Oscar! I need to get this one back to the table. I've really enjoyed my plays so far. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Well played!
Thanks!
Thank you for this, I really want to try solo mode as soon as I get my copy. When is the 2nd part coming?
Thanks so much for the kind comment! Part 2 should be out on Monday.

That is unfortunate. Thanks for giving everyone the heads up.
I didn’t know this game has a solo mode. I guess, I’m off to my local shop
Hey, thanks for checking out my video! Yeah, the solo is pretty cool. Definitely my dinosaur game of choice at the moment. Have a great day!
The retail version doesn't come with the solo mode, only the KS version unfortunately.

Yes it's bad business IMO. I get stretch goals but excluding a solo mode or making it KS exclusive should be a big no-no.
Easily the best tutorial for this game, not hard to translate to multiplayer
Thanks so much, Erik. This was one of my earlier videos and I learned a lot from making it. I'm glad you found it helpful!

We finally played it! They liked it and I did not 🤣
Ahhh, that's a shame. Better luck next time I guess. Anything specific that irked you? I'm always curious.

Was excited, but the background music is so distracting really ruined what could be a good video.
Sorry. I've dialed in the music since this video was made.
