That newer Speed Champion's basepiece is outright one of the best pieces TLG has ever made. It'd be amazing if they made ones that were shortened and lengthened by 2 studs.
It looks fairly small too, which makes this whole shape look so much better imho. If it was a larger build you kinda expect the shape to be right but this is some extra cool stuff being done at this scale!
It surely is, however I am not a fan of 8 wide for a regular car IF used for a minifig (builds for minifig proportions always grinded my nerves ... since you compromise details, ironically it's just like pixel art, the smaller the crappier ... but if the size is compromised by a human scale in mind then there is nothing you can do about it )
Could you possibly put a parts list up at some point? This thing is cool in the speed champions style, I wish that there were more official speed champions muscle cars, and maybe even trucks
I believe you’re referring to it’s raked stance (lifted in the back) which this builder absolutely nailed! I build real life Mad Max cars and that stink-bug muscle car look is one of the most important things to the Mad Max look.
It’s because it’s a ford falcon, in which has a very Australian way of setting up the rear end, where the rear of the car slopes right up and the suspension is exposed. Australian automakers did this to help the rear quarter panels not get destroyed by rocks and dirt kicked up by the rear wheels on our country roads. It also gives our vehicles from this era a unique look that you don’t see in other parts of the world. Obviously on the interceptor and the mad max vehicles it’s exaggerated but the raked stance is seen across older holden and fords from Australia
You're legitimately on official Speed Champions level of design ingenuity, which is meant as a big compliment because the Speed Champions designers are some of the cleverest at the company. Fantastic work on this
Public service announcement- please for the love of everything that is good, please please please put the 1x1 black cheese slope in the middle of the 2- 1x2 cheese slopes.😂
What's the difference, technic bricks with pins let you place bricks sideways above studs with the logo on them, and snot bricks can only be above hollow studs?
@@Stereomoo correct, technic bricks are slightly higher so that parts clear the “Lego” raised lettering. It’s why it’s technically illegal to put a snot brick into a technic brick and put plates over top
This is what I wish speed champions sets were like; 100% brick built, no stickers and few if any printed pieces. I understand that would make some cars much more difficult to design in Lego but it would look SO much better. The sheer amount of stickers is why I haven't bitten the bullet and got a speed champions set yet despite being tempted to do so.
Looks great! I’m not sure how strict you are on making it all legal, but I’m pretty sure that the 1x2 technic bricks with pins are illegal since the pieces on the side clash with the piece on top. Technically brick holes are slightly higher I think than regular snot bricks.
Hello my good, I find your MOC's really uper and build my own end-time Moc's! Could you build more of the end times or the apocalypse of Moc's? Where do you get your zombi Lego figures? Could you show something like that? Thanks from Germany and keep up the good work!!
Hey hackiroku i am a huge fan of your videos! i just want to ask you something: can you do a bespin duel moc? i mean the final part where Vader says:"I am your father". pls it would be a fantastic moc!
The sloped assembly on the hinge pieces. oh my god. super cool build.
I was going to say the same thing! Great profile, best build so far…
That newer Speed Champion's basepiece is outright one of the best pieces TLG has ever made. It'd be amazing if they made ones that were shortened and lengthened by 2 studs.
The shortened one would be fantastic for small cars, but then the longer one would be too for cars with two rows of seats
@@j0hn00 I've actually made a sedan with the newer basepiece. However, you're not exactly gonna be making anything in the full-sized category.
I love how you managed to fit that slope assembly on the sides without compromising minifig seating space.
This has to be one of the best LEGO Mad Max Interceptor designs I’ve seen. Great work on this, dude 🔥

OUTSTANDING!!! I would buy this if made in a set! Congrats!
I suggest in the next video to build a custom MOC based on the movie the 13th district, where Damien and Leito fought with a fat bully
This looks awesome!!!❤
I agree with you 🫂
Cool ass Lego set
Could you possibly put a parts list up at some point? This thing is cool in the speed champions style, I wish that there were more official speed champions muscle cars, and maybe even trucks
Would love to get a parts list to build this myself, truly amazing work and you captured the look perfectly.
The interceptor has this weird not-quite-right look to the rear wheels and this car captures it perfectly! Amazing build

@@Antiganos ye, the wheel almost looks photoshopped or something, like its not made to go there but totally is
@@stoppinginmotion1354 Yep! It’s cool to see replicated on the model!

Absolutely gorgeous, would totally buy
This is sick, everything looks so solid. Always a pleasure watch and learn from your videos
Well now I wanna see this compared to the versions you didn’t like.

For those who have seen the series Supernatural we need a brick built 1967 Chevrolet Impala with Sam and Dean minifigs
I enjoyed building your other tutorial of this interceptor, but this one is my favourite!! Nice one!!
Gorgeous!!!
I say put it into the Lego Ideas, I would vote for it instantly. Great build and I would like it in my Speed Champions collection
You made it my friend, it’s perfect!
Amazing building techniques!!!!😲

I stopped the video I was watching when I got the notification that you uploaded. Anyways, awesome build. You are so talented with LEGO elements
I appreciate the use of technic bricks with pins to keep things legal

Ngl bro I think you nailed it I see it as a very close march I might make this if I’m being honest
We need more mad max stuff 🫡

Could you try to make a yellow interceptor from the first movie like “March hair”?
Just gathered all the pieces on Bricklink. Can't wait to build it!
Do you possible have the part list for it? I'd love to order the parts on bricklink too to build!!
@@_henryd_ I’ll have to look into how to share Bricklink lists because I’m not familiar but I’m happy to share once I figure it out!
could you share the parts list you used for this build? I'd like to build one of my own!
😱😱😱😱😱SO COOL
Good job :)
Do you have a list of parts? Didn't know I needed this.
