How do you config the open sens when the ISP need us to have a vlan tag 102 to get internett, how do we set up that to run the vlan tag 102 on the wan port before I get internet connection. how is that made?
Hi, as opposed to? PfSense runs on the current version of FreeBSD (14). It's definately not running on an outdated operating system. With that, FreeBSD packages are maintained by their respective port maintainers. With regards to paywall, in what way? There's not many features paid for that you don't get in the CE variant? I'm not getting into the ethics things, one of the features that they did make part of the pay model was boot environments, which are actually a native feature of FreeBSD.

Interfaces > other types > vlan
Create vlan on WAN interface with 102 id
Use that interface for WAN
Pfsense is horrible... Outdated, features blocked behind a paywall & a bunch of shady devs
