I can relate to your experience.I was born in Kanchrapara rly quarter.I saw his programme in 1961 in Hindmarsh stadium.He played the music of the film Junglee and the ground was full.I have faint memories.

This is one story, that needed telling the most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Music is one of the many ways to reach the divine......nada Brahma, as our scriptures tell.
Every single word, his ever smiling face, the eternal joy in his face, clearly defines that he was a truly enlightened man. He had experienced Nirvana. A man completely at peace with himself.
What a man! What a body of work! Who cares, whether he got a Padma award or not! He had achieved true Nirvana & eternal bliss through his music.
Thanks once again for telling this story.

Without his inspiration I would never be able to compose more than 80 songs ! His music arrangement for my first cassette Anirban sung by Ajoy Sengupta was memorable! Working with him was a privilege and I was greatly honoured when he told us that he did not hear such good songs for the last 10 years! His simplicity and versatility incomparable even todays!
