Find a spot to fish. Google Maps. Green and Blue, then go to satellite view...
Find the fish
Fish the “seam”
Slower water just after some faster moving water
Deeper areas
A bend in the river
The middle.
Cast downstream. Wait for a bite.

Are there certain species that prefer the bait off of the bottom? Or is that more for the structure/cover of the bottom? Also, "I'll see you on the water." Where have I heard that outro before? LOL!!!

I think sturgeon and suckers are totally on the bottom, but catfish will eat on the bottom or just a little off the bottom on three way river rigs.
