Oh, this is so beautiful! Thank you. I was born and raised in Islington, and lived there most of my life. This was powerful to watch and reminded me of how much I love the area.
Nice video, congrats! Since it's your 1st week with a drone I share with you a little hint. Sometimes using 24/25 fps can be sub-optimal, especially when publishing the video online. For TV yes they want 24/25 fps but for online see e.g. at 2:38 the shot is beautiful, but it would have been less shuttery if shot at 30 fps. Just make a test, shoot the same but at 30fps (publish) and compare. Keep it up and drone on ;)
Thanks a lot for the comment, I will try what you say. I really love the 24p format, at least for playback. Do you think shooting at a higher frame rate to then be played at 24 would be a good approach? I still have to experiment a lot more with camera settings, including colour profiles. Lots of fun to look forward to!
Thanks Bineet, I used a mix of 1080 at 24p 1080 at 50p with the default colour space settings and the D-cinelike (which I am not so sure about, but still need to experiment more with it). To post process your footage the recommended setting is using D-Log and colour correct afterwards. For increased sharpness, the next thing I want to try is to shoot 4k and then downsize to HD. I am not keen on the 4k format, nor the quality of the 4k footage on the mavic anyway. In my opinion HD is the way to go for online content. Not worth exporting 4K unless you own a 4K TV or plan to project on a cinema!
Great job...love that poem!

Thank you for your comment Kelly, it's nice to know it brought you nice memories of Islington, from where I have so many memories myself!
Fantastic!
This one has touched me. Thank you for this experience
Much appreciated, Marco
Amazing! thanks for sharing!! :)

Good job! I don't even know how to use editing software. I just use my smartphone edit stuff.

Nice video. What settings did you use? I am having slight issues with the video quality on my mavic

Do you film in 1080 or 4k?
Karstacus At the moment I choose 1080 as I can shoot at 50fps (or more) to smooth the pans
