- Inspired by the videos of Kurt caz, I decided to adventure from Morocco's Capital, Rabat across the river to Salé, known to be a "dangerous" city in Morocco. While in route, some interesting and fun things happened..

Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures - big or small - and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It's kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I've always been extremely passionate about what I'm doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I've made over 150 UA-cam videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we're just getting started.
#morocco #dangerous #travel
I know I forgot many cities and places to visit but I want to thank you for all your suggestions. I read them ALL and try to respond to your comments and messages on Instagram. Also thanks to a talented graphic designer who helped me with the thumbail of this video. Follow him on Instagram: instagram.com/young21designe?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Your videos gave me goosebumps, as a Moroccan I really am happy that you enjoyed it in Morocco, you definitely should visit the cities you mentioned at the end of the video, each city will charm you in its own way. Bslama and stay safe wherever you go.

I'm from Salé and I confirm that I always try to be as vigilant as I can (even when I'm in Rabat), because you can never know what would happen.
But in general it's safe, you just have to avoid holding money or expensive stuff in empty places especially at night.
Cheers and welcome again to Morocco. Love your vids.
If this is the most dangerous city in Morocco, then Morocco is a very safe place lol.

Do not be afraid to shave in Morocco, all Moroccan youth are skilled, mixing Western and Arab in their haircuts, and all Moroccan barbers are modern, not traditional.

The title it’s a little bit harsh, i recommend that you change it for the sake of the good people from that country, I can tell you that Morocco is the safest country to visit , but because you had in mind that it might be the unsafe, when you are filming you keep looking around, but if you were behaving normal you would really enjoyed it more … good videos keep up the good work 👍🏻

Hello Elliot, welcome to Morocco.
You have to visit the south region, like Imlil, Tafraout, Sidi Ifni.
These regions are the spirit of Morocco.
Those are central regions, south region is like dkahla-etc..
Great video you have really adjusted yourself to the Moroccan culture.
There are no dangerous places in Morocco everywhere It is safe in Morocco I traveled all over Morocco night and day nothing ever happened to me the Moroccan people are very very nice and good-hearted people !

Great Adventure Elliot, loved it.
Don't believe what others say you must experience all things by yourself you see you are safe in sale 👍🇨🇦🌹
When you say to a Moroccan, “Is the city of Salé safe?” he will answer you “No.” It is not safe for Morocco. As for the rest of the countries, it is very safe. In Morocco, there are no gangs, mafias, or weapons.
Without disrespect . I think you over judge morroccan based on your on pre-judgmentals and streotypes. Come on get over it . We love and respect anybody and we are very genuine so energetic and mostley spontaneous . We are the safetest country in all the arabe world and africa. Please be more respectueux to our nation . Give us our real credits don,t be greedy. Enjooy your stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video Elliot! Thanks and safe travels!
Hi Elliot, I loved your videos. I wish you a happy travel, and I'm sorry if you were in any situation you didn't like
Welcome to Salé. The beautiful neighborhoods are the Shamaaou neighborhood, the Corniche, the Shamaaou neighborhood, the Said Hajji neighborhood, the Salam neighborhood, and the new Sala. You have not discovered much. Unfortunately, you are welcome to Salé.
The taxi is big 5dh, Shamao Saeed Hajji
Moroccans are the coolest, most friendly and welcoming people that you can ever come across. However, I don't like the way you approach them. For instance, when you met the guy dressed like a clown and you said to him "Salé's greatest clown" and "Do it for Allah" to the kid when he was jumping into the water. I understand that you are trying to be funny but I am pretty sure if you said these kind of things to people in the USA or elsewhere, they will probably whoop your ass. You actually might think that they won't understand you telling them these kind of "smart disrespectful jokes" but there are some that can feel what you're really doing. So disappointed about this channel.
Sorry I find that you have a harassing attitude towards people in Morocco and more especially children and women. Maybe because they're poor and nice. Your German companion is more sincere and respectful
I saw that you loved Moroccan food. Enjoy as much as you can. Because you will not find the taste of our food even if you travel the world. And benefited from the kindness and generosity of Moroccans. Long live Morocco and Moroccans.
Moroccan and proud.
Baklava isn’t Moroccan by the way, Moroccan sweets are so much better, so much richer in taste, and often even nutritious.
Thank you for showing the real morocco , that a lot of people dont know and judge from the media! Morocco is very friendly for foreigners
I really like your content, I've watch almost all the videos you've posted so far of your journey in Morocco. I like how friendly you are with strangers, it's a good thing, it helps break the ice and get a content out of those interactions but sometimes you're too friendly especially with older ladies. There are still some very conservative people, many don't like getting caught on camera, they consider it shameful. Also 4:58, it's a painting of his majesty the king, would be nice if you didn't make this kind of jokes again.
Have fun trip, I'm looking forward to watch a Chefchaouen episode.
Starcups coffee would get my money over the real deal hahah love stuff like that. Good energy in this video mate!
Salé is known historically as a city of Pirates .
The fact that you're a foreign man definitely makes your stay safer and more enjoyable
Dude Morocco it’s very safe, absolutely when is coming to the tourist always people been respectful and nice so you don’t have to worry Morocco it’s safe than some country in Europe

Marruecos es increíble es muy bonito al menos lo que veo en este video y muy cerca de la península ibérica
welcome to Morocco🇲🇦💙💙ihope you enjoy and spend a lovely time
Just another American so price sensitive. You keep making me think that everyone is trying to rob you of your little dollars. You are bargaining and being cheap in a place that's already cheap, you made that so clear, and your title is misleading which is not professional. You keep shouting that you're a Muslim and you're name is Mustapha, many people don't appreciate that. You're not a Muslim so please don't use that language. We don't jump in water for Allah. My goal is improvement.
His attitude is so cringy I couldn't watch the whole video
Growing as a woman in Morocco is fear everytime i leave the house i can totally relate to him. You didn’t live in fear or constant harassing so you would not understand. Our society have huge problems with chamkra either boys or grown up
No Sugar Coated version of REAL Morocco. Genuine content bud!

Not all ppl in morroco r hostil
Kids will be kids. As a Moroccan man (I was 27 years old) got robbed in West London by 5 teenagers. In London, UK. And I didn’t have a camera. It is the responsibility of Elliott to read the context, location and people around and not walk around as if in downtown Heaven!
I don’t like the sensationalist title. It has racist connotations for me. Not all Rabat kids are unruly. I wish you could change it. Thank you.
They are not kids they are spoiled brats. When you travel to other countries you won’t see those behaviors from boys or any males because they are well educated with manners. I grew up in Morocco and i know the problem with us Moroccans we never admit our wrongs and blame others or find excuses like boys will be boys..
@@desertmoonlee6631 It is your opinion. My experience and that of many of my friends confirm that the vast majority of visitors have a positive stay.

As asian, I hated Salé, specially those people mocking you 'chinouïa' too many uneducated people.
Don’t take it in a bad way, they’re innoceny children who are probably seeing an asian person for the first time. They don’t mean it in a racist way, but in wonder
Actually was still dangerous before last 10 years i grow up their it was like samurai era....suddenly the city turned 180 degree now its a clean and calm city with good people i think because of the police cleaning waves last 10 years also people way of thinking changed over time
beautiful channel, Great Content. I've been away from morocco for over a decade by now, I am totally baffled and Embarrassed of these " kids " Manners .
these child were juste charing their enthusiast with you.. you meet hundreds of beautiful people and your video's title is based in 1 supposed bad experience... it was bad just because your a kind of racist person who feel superior just because of his nationnality... without any kind of culture or education level.
Elliot you are really a adventurer see you soon ❤🇲🇦
Next time go to chefchaouen, its beautiful there.
As a non moroccan who visited Rabat this year, the capital is lovely and safe, rest assured, i am looking to return in the coming weeks
I’m really surprised about your comment and the words you are using describing Morocco …..
Where are you from? America? So there are areas where you can’t walk or do anything because they are not safe.
Did you feel any insecurity in sale? In Rabat? Of course no!
Also you were talking about the small cat!! The cat is good in Morocco you don’t need to take it to USA or Spain because we respect humans and animals but unfortunately some countries destroyed civilizations and animals and everything.
The people of Morocco is a great nation and remember Morocco is the first country in the world who recognized the independence of USA.
Have a good day
I read online that Salé can be dangerous so I was a bit cautious. Also, filming a video is different than walking through a city without a camera.. filming draws attention wherever you go and can make you a target. But all in all, Morocco was very safe as I said at the end of the video.
Welcome to Morocco 🇲🇦
The barber interaction is so funny and lovely even though he doesn't speak english
Vous êtes toujours préoccupé par votre sécurité, détendez vous vous risquez rien.
I read an address on the most dangerous city, Salé which made me laugh so you can visit the neighborhoods of Rabat that terrify you 😅😅
@adventure Elliot, I've been watching your videos since a while, i've noticed something that you came with a stereotypical idea that morocco is dangerous and u've been surprised about the hostpitality of moroccans like something you didnt know before. i didnt like how kissed the girl in front of her mother in your first video and makes them embarrased.
also when you ask people about something and when they start answering; you keep saying ¨SAFI! SAFI!¨; its like enough! enough! which is inapropriate. and i saw a women hiding her face from the cam, moroccans are nice to ask you to not film them but you can cut it in editing.
what a shame to put this title on this video to get more views maybe. you went to some wild teens swimming what you expect? i dont know your intentions but i feel like you are looking for the bad thing here and you forgot how many strangers in public saying welcome to you, c`mon dude!
peace from morocco☮🇲🇦
This is totally a clickbait! I already called him out on that title and thumbnail label, which are both disrespectful and lame. DANGEROUS in all caps and PROBLEMS IN MOROCCO! Sir, creator of this video what problems did you suffer from? Or what danger were you in? If a country can sue for diffamation lol
It's pretty ridiculous to be scared of a camera in Morocco, especially in Rabat where theres one on every street corner. To think anyone is filming YOU and not the scenery is pretty narcissistic.
welcome to morocco bro im from sale , you realy was in the mst dengerous place in sale 8:34 but you made and you are lucky , just be carful in casablanca its more dengerous make sure not go to old medina , peace and love

Welcome Elliot
Greetings from Marrakesh, Morocco
I am from the city of Salé, and it is not dangerous The people are good 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦☺️🙏
I’m an American who lives on the outskirts of a major city Meknes. Living in this country has its positives and minuses.
Positives? Great people. Anyone will take their shirt off for you and help you. Amazing culture that has been around for many centuries.
Minuses? The government doesn’t provide any opportunities for the Moroccan people. There is a lot of poverty and sadness in this country. If you get a job, it’s pure slavery. There is no opportunity to climb up and become successful unless you were born in a family that is rich or escape to Europe.
While Morocco is a safe country, you want to be on your toes at all times. Don’t have your phone out all the time and things in pockets that can be easily taken. Pick pocketing is huge and common. I’ve seen some girl walk down the street, someone on a bike stopped, grabbed her phone and skidded off. You want to be alert at all time of your belongings. Besides that, everything is great.
The title is condescending and racist. Putting kids (symbol of innocence) in contrast to a title claiming danger is very degrading, what do you exactly mean by that ? The creator also liked a comment saying « their behaviour is kinda similar to stray dogs lol » + « if you get approached by a group of teens just show dominance », what type of colonialist advice is this ? It’s highly dehumanising and disrespectful. I’m profoundly offended and disgusted by such content, entertainment and adventures shouldn’t be done at the sake of basic human respect.
Oh brotha 😂"Colonist advice" 😂 What have you been smoking 😭get real 🤣
Cry harder
Good vlog 😊❤
Pathetic how you move around, thinking that the barber was going to scam you while he was being nice. I'm not even mentioning the clickbait title, those who you described as a "moroccan child mob" attacking you, were actually welcoming you. You're not superior to this population, pretty sure a lot of these "child mob" would outsmart you, intellectually and also physically.
You definitely didn't go to the most dangerous places in sale . And the most dangerous cities in Morocco are sale fes and Casablanca. I see some people saying they're safe . Of course, you live in a safe area .and not safe doesn't mean there is gang wars everyday and 100 people dying everyday. Not safe means the crime rate there is the highest compared to other cities
I was an illegal Immigrant in morocco for many years, before i Migrated to spain by sea. I have been kidnapped by Bandit in Taza downtown of morocco, i spent 9 days with my Adopters, i gain freedom after paid about 300 euro which was sent to them fr my brother in france back then. I was attacked diffrent Times. That dose not change the fact that Moroccans are good pepole, just dont fall into the wrong circle
Crazy story bro
did you report your situation to the Royal Gendermerie? if yes how they did handle it?
morocco is the best country in the WORLD !
Lol
Its not the best but one of the best countrys ✌️🇲🇦🖤🔪💛
I think it is nice to find tourists entering the depths of Moroccan society, instead of visiting the well-known tourist places, I liken this to exploring the depths of the sea, and hiking on a boat over the water, there is a big difference, and more truth appears to the visitors.
I wish that Moroccans spoke English, it would be good to communicate with people, but the state is working to replace French with English in schools, our children will be better in communicating in the future. welcom to morocco
I will return to Morocco and explore the deepest parts of the country.. I just need about a month
