  • Inspired by the videos of Kurt caz, I decided to adventure from Morocco's Capital, Rabat across the river to Salé, known to be a "dangerous" city in Morocco. While in route, some interesting and fun things happened..

Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures - big or small - and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It's kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I've always been extremely passionate about what I'm doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I've made over 150 UA-cam videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we're just getting started.

Moroccans are the coolest, most friendly and welcoming people that you can ever come across. However, I don't like the way you approach them. For instance, when you met the guy dressed like a clown and you said to him "Salé's greatest clown" and "Do it for Allah" to the kid when he was jumping into the water. I understand that you are trying to be funny but I am pretty sure if you said these kind of things to people in the USA or elsewhere, they will probably whoop your ass. You actually might think that they won't understand you telling them these kind of "smart disrespectful jokes" but there are some that can feel what you're really doing. So disappointed about this channel.

Kids will be kids. As a Moroccan man (I was 27 years old) got robbed in West London by 5 teenagers. In London, UK. And I didn’t have a camera. It is the responsibility of Elliott to read the context, location and people around and not walk around as if in downtown Heaven!
I don’t like the sensationalist title. It has racist connotations for me. Not all Rabat kids are unruly. I wish you could change it. Thank you.

They are not kids they are spoiled brats. When you travel to other countries you won’t see those behaviors from boys or any males because they are well educated with manners. I grew up in Morocco and i know the problem with us Moroccans we never admit our wrongs and blame others or find excuses like boys will be boys..

I’m really surprised about your comment and the words you are using describing Morocco …..
Where are you from? America? So there are areas where you can’t walk or do anything because they are not safe.
Did you feel any insecurity in sale? In Rabat? Of course no!
Also you were talking about the small cat!! The cat is good in Morocco you don’t need to take it to USA or Spain because we respect humans and animals but unfortunately some countries destroyed civilizations and animals and everything.
The people of Morocco is a great nation and remember Morocco is the first country in the world who recognized the independence of USA.
    Have a good day

I read online that Salé can be dangerous so I was a bit cautious. Also, filming a video is different than walking through a city without a camera.. filming draws attention wherever you go and can make you a target. But all in all, Morocco was very safe as I said at the end of the video.

@adventure Elliot, I've been watching your videos since a while, i've noticed something that you came with a stereotypical idea that morocco is dangerous and u've been surprised about the hostpitality of moroccans like something you didnt know before. i didnt like how kissed the girl in front of her mother in your first video and makes them embarrased.
also when you ask people about something and when they start answering; you keep saying ¨SAFI! SAFI!¨; its like enough! enough! which is inapropriate. and i saw a women hiding her face from the cam, moroccans are nice to ask you to not film them but you can cut it in editing.
what a shame to put this title on this video to get more views maybe. you went to some wild teens swimming what you expect? i dont know your intentions but i feel like you are looking for the bad thing here and you forgot how many strangers in public saying welcome to you, c`mon dude!
    peace from morocco☮🇲🇦

I’m an American who lives on the outskirts of a major city Meknes. Living in this country has its positives and minuses.
Positives? Great people. Anyone will take their shirt off for you and help you. Amazing culture that has been around for many centuries.
Minuses? The government doesn’t provide any opportunities for the Moroccan people. There is a lot of poverty and sadness in this country. If you get a job, it’s pure slavery. There is no opportunity to climb up and become successful unless you were born in a family that is rich or escape to Europe.
While Morocco is a safe country, you want to be on your toes at all times. Don’t have your phone out all the time and things in pockets that can be easily taken. Pick pocketing is huge and common. I’ve seen some girl walk down the street, someone on a bike stopped, grabbed her phone and skidded off. You want to be alert at all time of your belongings. Besides that, everything is great.

The title is condescending and racist. Putting kids (symbol of innocence) in contrast to a title claiming danger is very degrading, what do you exactly mean by that ? The creator also liked a comment saying « their behaviour is kinda similar to stray dogs lol » + « if you get approached by a group of teens just show dominance », what type of colonialist advice is this ? It’s highly dehumanising and disrespectful. I’m profoundly offended and disgusted by such content, entertainment and adventures shouldn’t be done at the sake of basic human respect.

I'm not even mentioning the clickbait title, those who you described as a "moroccan child mob" attacking you, were actually welcoming you. You're not superior to this population, pretty sure a lot of these "child mob" would outsmart you, intellectually and also physically.

You definitely didn't go to the most dangerous places in sale . And the most dangerous cities in Morocco are sale fes and Casablanca. I see some people saying they're safe . Of course, you live in a safe area .and not safe doesn't mean there is gang wars everyday and 100 people dying everyday. Not safe means the crime rate there is the highest compared to other cities

I think it is nice to find tourists entering the depths of Moroccan society, instead of visiting the well-known tourist places, I liken this to exploring the depths of the sea, and hiking on a boat over the water, there is a big difference, and more truth appears to the visitors.
I wish that Moroccans spoke English, it would be good to communicate with people, but the state is working to replace French with English in schools, our children will be better in communicating in the future. welcom to morocco
